I did notice that LeafsEditor or one of those sites had the Fire Keefe blog already to go.

Funny enough with not one word of Jay Woodcroft now being available, it did however mention Coach Q, I guess the writer still doesnt understand that what happened in Chicago isnt just going to go away. What a maroon, what an ignaranimous!

Sheldon Keefe on Leafs centre David Kampf missing practice: “He’s going to be fine. He just needs some of the swelling to go down in his face from the clean hit to the head that he took.”

Lmao
This is now one of my favourite quotes.

The sarcasm is biting and delicious.

Still don’t like Keefe, but props to him for finding a way to call a dirty unpunished hit a dirty unpunished hit.

Credit when it’s due.

Keefe isn't soft enough.

That's what the problem is. These divas can't handle a hard noser like Keefe. They need a softer coach.

I wonder if the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is available.

At best Keefe is mediocre when it comes to being a head coach. He seems to rely heavily on the all star cast of assistants the team has surrounded him with every year. Assistants good enough to have gone on to become head coaches of their own teams.

Keefe himself would make a great assistant.

So long as he doesn't have any actual tactical duties. His head scratching decisions on lineups, deployment, and strategy over the years has led to mediocre results with the outstanding roster he was gifted. Under normal circumstances he would have been fired already.

Keefe's only saving grace is that Shanahan is even softer than he is.
