Arizona retained, gave Vancouver Garland and took on Eriksson's contract. Anyways, anyone who has decent memory knows that OEL in his last days in Arizona was not the same one from years past.

AZ took on $12m+ in odorous cap dumps, retained, and stapled Garland on for good measure to get a top 10 pick.

Now those dumps are cleared out, OEL is Vancouver's problem, and the Coyotes have Dylan Guenther.

This is the best dman depth the Sens have had, arguably ever.

No chance he is top 32 in the league. Not even close. I would put him closer to 60th which is still a top pairing but a low, low, low end one.

I'd call him a "Top-3D". He could either anchor a really good 2nd pairing, or comfortably play up on the top pairing with another comparable caliber player or better.
