You should watch a player play before you voice your opinion.
Saying Wheeler is lazy is like saying Byfuglien was small.
It’s known by everybody that Wheeler was one of the laziest players in the league from 2019-2023. Couldn’t be bothered to defend at all, yet was a hard ass to his teammates at the same time. There’s a good reason why he got stripped of his letter then bought out the next year.

Ok, if you say so.

I don’t have to say anything, look at the results and what his own team did. Toxic player last few years.

I know more than you
91, 65, 46, 60, 55 are the points totals after the 2017-2018 season.
Seems like the only person lazy around here is you. Too lazy to look up his stats.

Lszy players don’t score points? Especially when they’re on PP1? K

Bryan Little was only traded for cap reasons, his last game was in a Jet uniform before his unfortunate injuries. He was well-loved and caused no controversy. He was a Jet the whole way.

Wheeler had to be bought out and caused a ton of friction on the team, made a coach quit, and was stripped of the captaincy. He then played another year for another team, when it was clear he didn’t have much to offer them. We respect and admire Blake’s sacrifices and achievements for the team, but his final years were problematic. Despite his efforts, his attitude wasn’t “team first”, it was “my team first, my way” - and his post-retirement reception with the team will therefore be difficult. He should have retired after being bought out for many reasons, and he would’ve remained a player in high regard in Winnipeg.

I wasn't impressed with him with the Rangers last year. The Rangers hoped he could be the 2RW but he was pretty much a non-factor......got scratched a couple times if I remember right and moved around the bottom lines some. Then he got hurt and missed most of the second half.
