It is depressing that the best thing we can conjure up to play LW with the best player on earth is Kahun. A guy like Chris Kunitz would do wonders there...

Its a fair point, but it boggles my mind that this is the first time Kahun has played with McDavid all year and were like 80% done the season. If it doesnt work, then it doesnt work but it should of been tried like literally the first game of the season.

Step 2: Repeat the process with Yamamoto and Kahun

Step 3: Reunite DRY with 11 games left to give them enough time to get chemistry but not enough for the opposition to game plan against them

Really hope he’s back next year, a healthy Klef would make this a top 10 D even if they don’t re-sign Barrie, IMO

The only more ridiculous thing I've witnessed is the Esks signing Sir Vincent Rogers and I've never seen him play a game.

You’re saying you wouldn’t sign Sir Vincent Rogers just for the lols? How could you pass on a guy with that name?

Regarding the taxi squad, it would be nice to have some AHL talent on there (Benson, Marody, Lavoie etc) but they would likely rot like Bouchard

Am I misremembering? I thought Khaira got taken out of a game after a fight a little while before that Ritchie fight game when he got knocked out.

edit: looking back, I must be thinking of the Gudbranson fight where he got messed up a bit. But he finished the game. I may just be linking that event in my mind to when he got knocked out a week later. But probably wasn't actually concussed from that 1st fight.

I might be getting traumatized from seeing Jujhar Hockey taking such a beating this year!

Exactly. For anyone with experience in concussion protocol your RTP (Return to Play) will be dependant on your initial symptoms and how you do in relation to your baseline SCAT test

So if Price is out for a week that means he had symptoms that would not allow him to exercise for 4 days. Then typically you will ride a bike for a set amount of time on the 5th day (ie 20 minutes) and then if symptoms don’t return, the next day you ride for 30-40 minutes. Reevaluate if any symptoms return the following day. If not you can then skate with no contact. No symptoms next day you do another stress test. Still no return of symptoms then you’re cleared to return.

They take this shit serious.

Even if he gets healthy to actually play again, what happens after getting hit hard in the same shoulder for half a season?

Is he cooked again? He had surgery before and it didn't last for more than a year. Hockey is a sport where as a D you're going to taking repeated hard impact to the shoulder over and over and over again.
