Would Blue Jackets be good if the Defense and goalie were same but they had Ryan Johanson, Nathan Horton, Marion Gaborik, Rick Nash, Jake Vorachek, Derrick Brassard, Jeff Carter.

If I'm interpreting your post correctly, you think none of those trades should have been made. Fine. But if you're playing real-world what if, you can't have both Voracek and Carter. And you can't have the same defense because Jack Johnson-for Jeff Carter. So you've either got to revise your question or we could just play all day...

Would the Jackets be better if they had Pavek Datsyuk, Patrick Sharp, Sidney Crosby, Bobby Orr and Ken Dryden?

I overstated superstar, but my point was they are all pretty good players. I'm not talking about, it's not possible because of the way trades were made etc. It's a hypothetical questions. All of those players were Blue Jackets. I was wandering thoughts on would the blue jackets be any good if somehow those players were our main forwards. I think the issue here would be there would still only be one puck and I think the lack of grit would do that group in.

I was thinking along these lines the other night while watching the Rangers-Flyers. Mainly if we hadn't made the Carter trade.

Having Jake and Couturier would make our forward group better. D would suffer without JJ.

The only real glaring thing that jumped out to me was I'm really glad we switched conferences.

Other than that its the old we need more wins against the top teams. My quick add is that we were 16-19-6 against playoff qualifiers. Take away the other three wild cards and it falls to 10-18-6.

I emailed my ticket rep about it. I'll post what I find out.
