It's sad that ESPN would rather show basketball than hockey highlights.

Nikitin should be plus 12 at least. They gave him a couple minuses when he was on the bench, one of them in the last game against the Flyers when he and Savard got minuses for Wiz and Murray. Also he should have had another plus on Foligno's goal with Florida.Interesting stat I was not aware of.
After being -8 in 8 games with Buffalo, Corey Tropp is +11 in 28 games with the CBJ. The highest on the team. Nikitin is +10 in 48 games.

The guy doesn't speak English and can't complain, so some stats people are using it for unknown reason.

No, no, no, that's not it at all. You're supposed to selectively interpret, like everybody else does. This is good to know. Since the stats keepers can't be trusted to know what the hell they're talking about, I will henceforth ignore any discussion regarding statistics.

Well, that's what he said in his resent interview to Russian media. Russians call themselve "a gang", he wants to stay in the NHL and his English is not much better than it was 3 years ago:Well, that's not exactly true. I spoke with him recently at a STH CBJ event to honor our Olympians and he speaks and understands English quiet well. No interpreter. In fact, he was quite relaxed and very conversational.

I'm aware of that interview. It's just not true. His English is good enough to interact without ANY apparent misunderstandings in a one to one conversation and without interpreter. Now, that said, I believe the Russians on the CBJ do enjoy having a group. Tyutin is a solid figure for them. He's been here longest, and is truly assimilated in the culture. His wife, Tyutin's, is Canadian.
But to say Nikitin doesn't speak English is not even remotely accurate based on conversations I've had with him.
Perhaps the interview was meant to portray that image to Russians. Don't know why he'd want people there to think he doesn't speak English, but he does.
Have to agree with Derby here. I was at the same event recently and my better half talked with Nikitin for almost 5 minutes and there were no issues communicating.
He does have an issue with writing English, was at an event once and had to help him spell something for someone wanting an autograph, but totally correct that he can speak it just fine. Aucoin told me that Tyutin speaks better English than some Canadians here.
I saw Superman today…he was wearing Boone Jenner pajamas.

Nice article from nbcsports.com:

Just to show you guys what EA thinks of Bjorkstrand, as of the latest update, he's the second most valuable trade piece in the entire system @18y.o and 56 overall behind only Gaborik. Behind Bjorkstrand are Horton, Johnson, Murray and Dubinsky.
Edit: Dansk has about the same trade value as Bjorkstrand, hes just not listed with everyone else. Wennberg has about the same value as Jenner right now, and Johansen is SEVERELY lacking updated stats
Wennberg is in NHL 14?? And I'm just happy they finally updated the online rosters to add Bob and Horton to the lineup.
