Bottom of the ribs is pretty close to the top of the hip though. Right in that area though.

This is what it has always been, imo. Same spot he took a cross check at the end of the regular season against Vegas in his 60 goal season. Same spot he left the game against Winnipeg at the start of last year. He hasn't even been bending over to take faceoffs this year.
