Yeah could be ribs, seemed like too low of a cross check for ribs though, like he hit him on his hip almost. Guess we’ll have to wait to find out

Bottom of the ribs is pretty close to the top of the hip though. Right in that area though.

This is what it has always been, imo. Same spot he took a cross check at the end of the regular season against Vegas in his 60 goal season. Same spot he left the game against Winnipeg at the start of last year. He hasn't even been bending over to take faceoffs this year.

If they are both out extended amounts of time, holding onto 3rd in the Pacific would be considered a win. It will be a short playoffs if they are out longer

Weird. DNB quoted Knob as saying they could be out "as long as a week" which is significantly more positive then the SN one there.
