As far as Arvidsson is concerned, I *think* that if he misses the games this week he would then qualify for LTIR by missing 10 games and 24 days.

Wonder if that's the play here to recover some of the cap space that was accrued then not accrued with the comings and goings of various players to and from IR the last few weeks.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think putting him on LTIR at this point would affect our accrual at all. I'm far from a carpologist though. Maybe @Fourier might know for sure?

I think that if he were to be put on it would be retroactive opening space that would have been accrued had he been on LTIR from day 1. Definitely not sure though.
