That was a win in my book before the GWG. We played ugly, clog the middle of the ice hockey against a desperate opponent and held them to virtually nothing.

Getting the real W and leaving healthy is huge!

Leafs played well but Samsanov might disagree that they held Florida to virtually nothing.

Here’s some stats that I like and that really tell the story in terms of playoff games and tight checking games and defensive struggle type games and tough mean ones as well .
Before our trades these ( hits, takeaways , giveaways , blocks , weren’t usually on our side or when it came to the “ hits” we were getting clobbered .
We now are a team , I don’t know if we will win in the Playoffs? But I’m very confident that the team that we have now is finally suitable and capable and built for a long run …
