If MTL/TOR/OTT had a redraft, what would your top 10 look like?

Why is Toronto being compared with teams who can't sniff the playoffs? And why are you ranking guys who have proven less than Toronto's players ahead of them?

It's just sad when fans try and pretend because they haven't been in the final 4 they are basically the same as teams who can't escape the bottom 10.

Edit: Just noticed Hutson ranked ahead of Marner and Nylander LMFAO
What about the Habs players that made the SCF? So not only final 4, but final 2.

So if I'm playing this game correctly, you would presumably be drafting say 1st and 4th, or 2nd and 5th, etc. etc. rather than all at once.

I think that likely pushes the Leaf players higher up the list than might otherwise be true when factoring in contracts. You have more space if you can get a cheaper contract later in the draft.

Am I cooking?

As a Habs fan, Caufield is too high and Guhle ≠ Sanderson. And Matthews is clearly #1.

Fair - I think Sanderson has a higher ceiling than Guhle and I don't watch the Sens enough to know how much of him being caved in this season defensively is because his partner is Hamonic - I also think in today's league two-way guys like Sanderson are slightly less valuable than first-pass DFDs

Caufield to me is a future MSL - I don't know if I see him being a 50/30 player as much as I see him being a 40/50 player in the future.

I put a lot of stock in contract in my list - both $ and term - as well as age - whereas some people here seem to only value the quality of the player as they are today. For example, I know Matthews and Marner are both considerably better players than Stutzle today, but I think Stutzle's contract is incredible value-wise vs an expiring Marner and a 13m, oft injured Matthews when building a franchise around a single player.

And never won 3 rounds ever.

Where is your list
He literally never said that. He correctly corrected the guy that said the Leafs haven't sniffed the second round.

And if playoff success was the most important criteria in the context of this thread, then Tkachuk, Stutzle, Hutson wouldn't be in the list at all.

If people were being honest here the top 5 would be Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tkachuk, and Stutzle in whichever order. Matthews is clearly the best of the three teams, though.
