St. Louis may not even play Primeau on a back to back against a bottom 10 team in the league, he is unplayable at this point.

Monty can't play all the remaining games until the end of the season. There is like 10 back-to-backs left and Habs basically play one game every other day starting in January until April outside the 4 Nations two weeks off...where Monty might be playing games anyway.
Habs will be out of a goalie by mid-January if they don't play a backup once in a while.
Seeing Guhle's reaction to the Barron trade, some of the Habs are going to be playing depressed tomorrow.

Marty Brodeur used to play like 65 games a season... granted it was behind a tab better defense... but still. I think it will be good for Monty. Builds karakter.

I remember Glen Hall played 560 consecutive games. I know it was a different era but Brodeur, Fuhr would routinely play over 65 games per season.

This is the era of load management, G don’t play BTB games(except crucial late season or playoff games), or more than 55GP per season - Winter-peg has been the exception and they’ve paid for it as Hellebuyck has been drained come playoffs
Many teams starting this season, have also limited the # of practices G participate in
Guhle said he was sad and tough seeing him go. He mentioned most of the players live close to each others and hang out a lot and that included Barron.
Hopefully Carrier fits right in. Looks like a fun guy and he said he knew a few of the players on the team already.
