Hilarious that he only calls out his favorite whipping boys. Where was he a few games ago when Scheifele made about the laziest attempt at a defensive play that I have ever seen. Or Connor's myriad of awful defensive board plays. Accountability should be for everyone Moe, not just for your least favorite players, one of the reasons why this team is so dysfunctional imo.

He's really starting to show the classic symptoms of end stage coachitis. Time for Dr Chevorkian to step in.

Another season down the drain. I would try with different coach rest of the season and if its not working any better then major trades during summer. Continueing with Pomo would mean that it would not be clear what is broken the system or the team.
Eliminate one variable and after that the second if needed.

Didn't look like a team that's quit on the coach. I think they knew how important this was for him and the team in general. Just didn't have the talent.

Eh, it's the D that's the problem. I think the forward group is more than halfway decent. The top 6 is a highly skilled, fast skating group that can give any team problems, but alas, the D corps taketh away.

A new coach is not going to fix this, not this year at least

Although a new coach may not fix things, I still think a new voice is needed in the room. PoMo's message/system/whatever may be stale now. Like I said in another thread, even if the Jets don't make the playoffs this year, at least a new coach NOW will give the guy a chance to shape the team and the way he wants them to play so they come out blazing next year.

It's hard to begin to describe how disappointing this team has been since November ended. Not much seems to be working. There are literally so many problems on this roster that it seems like a bad acid trip we some how made it to the west final 2 seasons ago.

The future seemed so bright, we looked like a team on the right path. Now we look like a ****ing mess. A mess with no cap space. I can't even.

The arbitration wont likely begin until he is medically cleared to play, which is supposed to be sometime in March. Well after the trade deadline. If he isnt cleared to play then they will likely rule in the Jets favour and Buff is likely to retire. If he is cleared to play and they rule in Buffs favour then we owe him his entire years salary including the cap hit.

Wow - just wow. I didn't realize that either way, Buff basically effed the Jets organization for pretty much this entire season. If A or B play out as Daximus wrote, I'm not sure I would want Buff to return to the Jets. Would the organization and/or players really welcome him back, or is the relationship poisoned now?

The unmitigated jubilation in Randorf's voice when CBJ got that late winning goal was obvious. I think he developed a hatred for Winnipeg from all his years hanging around Rod Black and Glen Suitor.

See, that's the thing - I realize this is the "new" NHL when fortunes can turn around quick (maybe semi-quick?), but I'm STILL gutted that the Jets went from Cup contender just two seasons ago, and now, it seems the window is shut.
