I posted this once.

Is it me or the power play this year mainly rotates to the right triangle. Using 3 players.
Less and less to the left side of the ice when PP1 is on the ice?

Noticed it a few games.

I think Laine should be in Pionk's spot. He's easily a good enough passer and has the IQ and also has a not bad shot from what I've heard.
Couldn't we at least try something like that on the PP?

I think on the offensive stand point that is the best line up and best to use the skilled players.


But that might be a lot of pressure for a winger to man the point and hold the line.

Its already hard to play 1 of the D on the PP as a young winger.
But the last line of defense , he might not be able to think shots as he will be always thinking to be the guy to hold the line.
Most likely pk will send out player to preasure him at the point more.


Good idea but he might not be ready to take that role maybe as he matures later on.

Maybe Laine can convince Barkov to come back with him and play for the Jets .

Or maybe Laine has been convinced to join Barkov in Florida?

Then he would be playing for Edmonton or Pittsburgh as that guy would be a generational player
He'll get drafted 1st overall...

Those 2 teams have a knack on getting this kind of talent.....

Edmonton ? Really ? They have been absolute crap for a long time and have had alot of top 3 draft picks and still were crap . If McDavid didn't fall in their laps that team would still be crap today , even with him they aren't very good .
