I am guaranteeing that my wife will call from upstairs wanting something and I will pretend I didn’t hear anything…..

$1000 on Tampa. At least a small consolation if Leafs break me heart yet again.. but it hurts so damn muchPut your house on it
A lot can change, but if there are no major changes to either team, or injuries, I think they’ll beat TB in 6.
Nope, Kyle dubas. Are you a genie and if so, do you intend to wish Vasilevskiy, Kucherov, Stamkos, Point & Hedman to an alternate timeline?
It doesn't even hurt anymore.I feel better because I can blame the OP now instead of the annual self loathing I feel for pinning faith on this team.
Burn the boats!
Look at the home vs away records for both teams. The Leafs squandering home ice advantage to bad teams is unforgivable. It also shows that the biggest flaw through the Keefe era has never improved: playing down to the level of the opponent + no urgency to winA lot can change, but if there are no major changes to either team, or injuries, I think they’ll beat TB in 6.
Yeah what good are these threads other than attention seeking?Put your house on it
Crap...those were truly dim days.Reminds of the thread back in the Burke/Wilson?(or was it Carlyle) era where there was a thread which said "There is no way Leafs miss the playoffs this year"; and then the "18 wheeler went off the cliff"![]()
Reminds me of the thread titled "But it's not Sustainable".Reminds of the thread back in the Burke/Wilson?(or was it Carlyle) era where there was a thread which said "There is no way Leafs miss the playoffs this year"; and then the "18 wheeler went off the cliff"![]()
We brought them to death's doorstep last year. Even outscored them in the series, not sure that's accurate, we have a very good chance to beat them, they have to go do it which is the toughest part.A few additions short of beating Tbay (assuming Tbay doesn't add anything)
I intend for our guys to outplay them, the same way they outplayed them last year. Whistles saved their asses big time, won't happen again, especially with our roster additions and their roster subtractions. Leafs in 5. Hanta yo baby. Are you a genie and if so, do you intend to wish Vasilevskiy, Kucherov, Stamkos, Point & Hedman to an alternate timeline?
Optimism will be mocked.Hey guys logging in after a long time - not sure what's the guarantee?
Uh, you mean issue that has been around since PAT BURNS was the head coach...It also shows that the biggest flaw through the Keefe era has never improved: playing down to the level of the opponent + no urgency to win
