Man oh man do I wish I was playing today , where 1 goal and 2 assists and a 0 +- got me a nickname on my line ...and I think , could be wrong though a million plus in my bank ..
I remember Bruce Boudreau coming up regularly from the minors and always seemed to get a couple of points a game every time ha ha ha

Did Pierre shoot your dog or **** your wife? Your anger with him is quite over the top and not totally justified.
Hes a role player... does what he is supposed to do. Nothing more.
I agree his offense needs to improve but its not his fault that a good 15 or so beautiful plays hes made have turned to shit when his intended target whiffs or misses the wide open net. His pk and speed are valuable hut eventually he will be dealt and improved upon. No need to have a stroke over a 3rd line role player.

I wish I was able to play in the 80’s against plumbers and electricians. Goalies who stood up and literally kicked at the puck. different game, different role different expectations. His line has been a large part of our team shutting out the most prolific scorer in back to back games.

Some people don't understand that players continue to develop at the NHL level.
They get confused when a players isn't as good as he's going to be, right out of the box. Nor do they understand why all players aren't equal.

Id start by suggesting you start watching the games. Petan played very well and Barabanov had a great game against Drai...the reigning Hart winner...but nevermind. he must suck because he's not a star and has to rotate with the taxi squad.

Anyways I watched him develop in the Marlies and on the Marlies he was a lot more peskier and he pissed off a few players during the last Marlies playoff so there is still a side of Engvall most of you haven't seen yet
The guy is a perfect 4th line player, can play wing/center and can PK. He can skate and isn't dumb with the puck.

If the guy is working on his draws (as has been reported) as hard as he works out in the gym - guy might be a late bloomer diamond in the rough.
