You mean like when Philly took 6’2 Patrick over 5’11 Makar

Or maybe Philly taking 5’11 York over 5’7 Caufield

Great argument though with the height thingy
except Cooley is the better prospect over Hutson and the reason Caufield dropped was due to his height and players that small rarely work out.... thats why, in a redraft no one would take Hutson over Cooley right now.
maybe Hutson would get selected earlier then 62nd overall but not 3rd overall over Cooley. I understand over hyping prospects but this is just nonsense

Canadian fans kinda becoming the new leaf fans from the matthews marner nylander rielly early years…. Cept the Canadians group is much less talented
I always find it funny how people always generalize fanbases off one or two silly people who post silly threads on the internet.

Leafs, Habs, Canucks, Rangers, etc have massive fanbases and are bound to have a larger quantity of goofy fans, what is the point of judging a team based off the silliest of their fans? Obviously this thread is made to stir shit up, but who cares, just ignore it.

Writing this made me feel old, but it has to be said in so many threads on this website!

Capfriendly has Cooley at 5'11"
and Hutson at 5'8"
either way Cooley is the better prospect
Cooley isn't 5 11

Hutson has grown to 5 9. He even looks taller than 5 9 now. That info is outdated. He's growing latel due to some bone growth issue.

Hutson might not be the better prospect now but he's git a good chance of becoming the better nhl player, esp considering the teams and their surrounding talent

How do you know Cooley's height?

elite prospect also has Hutson at 5'8" but Cooley at 5'10" is it possible that Capfriendly is right? or has Cooley shrunk?
if its out dated can you please show me the correct dated heights then?

His most recent height measurement was done bu his college team and it came at 5 9

Chris Jandric is definitely 3” taller than Lane Hutson and has more points. Am I doin his right?

This is a completely useless thread started by Habs fan to tout their prospect based on goals and assist totals a dozen games into a season where the players have different positions, play in different leagues on different teams and have different NHL projections based on a far deeper analysis than a small sample size of points in their freshmen seasons.

There’s a Lane Hutson thread already and fans can be as homerific as they want in their own forum sub-section. Stop playing games here - we all know the intent of the OP’s post and it’s not to have a good faith discussion, which could have been had in my number of already existing threads that are less conscpicuous. It’s a homer post by a homer Habs fan. Full. Stop.

I stated a current fact and asked for fans to discuss. Complete good faith discussion. If you don't like the discussion, you are free to ignore.

Cheers!
