couple of things i noticed. skinner player much better when he started playing with more offensive players. he was at his best when they put him with estaal. hainsey looked great when we were pushing to get back it in, as a team i was actually proud to watch us push - especially after it was 3-2.

i watched the pens feed, and errey stated that when he asked jstaal how he lost his ten lbs and if he had done anything different - staal told him "no, i just ate less chocolate.".

what was murphy doing out there in a big defensive draw situation on the glass goal? gerbe was awesome again. ward had a few flurries in there where it looked like he was back. then the last jokinen shot happened.

OK, after laughing WAY too hard at the Skittles comment, I'm done.

It's one game. That being said, we've scored 2 goals in all 3 games this year, and against a decent offensive team that's not enough. The D is improved, drastically, but we're not a team that's built to win 2-1 games. Against a Flyers team that didn't have an even strength goal? Sure.

We need to wake up offensively. Semin needs to do something. As pleasantly surprising as they've been, Dvorak and Gerbe have accounted for 2/3rds of our goals. That's what needs to change. And it will. Calm down, masses.
