Crash Wallace in a Celtics jersey will make me cry :(

He's my favorite player playing atm, his style is almost identical to the way I play. The slight difference being he makes in excess of 11m doing it.

Tennis talk on here? Oh heck yes. :D

All I want to know is... who broke Wimbledon? Poor Maria (among others). :(

Blame the weather in SW, easiest option I guess. Although BBC did report it as breaking news that they were cutting the grass. Shameful confession: I have lived within walking distance of the All England Club for the last 5 years and have never been. Though that is in part due to the damn lottery to get decent tickets.

Gerald Wallace's contract being 100% absorbed by the Celtics is my favorite part of the deal. How did the Nets convince them to take that? Not to mention that they get Kris Kardashian Humphries and Reggie 'Flopper' Evans too.

My god the C's are going to blow for at least the next 5-6 years and I'm going to love every minute of it. At least when we tank we acquire 19 year old centers and potential lottery picks, not overpaid players who may or may not have been good at one point. WE'RE OUT TANKING YOU BOSTON! WIGGINS IS OURS!

PG: Carter-Williams
SG: Turner
SF: Richardson
PF: Young
C: Hawes (Noel later on)

lulz.

Still, the sight of Crash in a C*****'s jersey pisses me off :laugh: I refuse to even type that name.

It is slightly off put tho by my Rockets getting Howard and Paul.

PG - Chris Paul
SG - James Harden
SF - Chandler Parsons
PF - Omer Asik
C - Dwight Howard

Eat it Miami!

Also, FWIW, It was very classy the way the fans in attendance sent Mr. Stern off, and Hakeem being there was great to. All in all a really nice scene. Gave me a warm fuzzy as it were.

Too soon.

On a positive, at least all the Celtics bandwagoners are gone.

Yeah I wonder how many of those suddenly "life-long fans" that popped out of nowhere in 2007 will actually continue to follow that team. My guess is most of them become Miami fans.

Ray Allen wins NBA Title with Miami, Doc Rivers bails, Bruins choke, Hernandez gon' thug, and now the C's blow it up.

Best. Week. Ever. All we need is for Tom Brady to have a pedicure gone wrong and I'd be a pig in ****.

Don't forget Gronkowski being out, Tebow likely the starting TE and Bill Simmons losing his s*** on national tv last nite

Today I discovered a craft brewery approx 200 metres from my flat, with a newly built bar, this could get messy.

If only I could be so lucky.

That would burn a serious hole in my wallet, though. The bar/cheesesteak place down the street from me, which has 60+ beers on tap, gets enough of my money as it is.

I appreciate the fact that Simmons isn't the typical commentator drone and has some personality to him, but I still can't say I like the guy. Probably stems from the fact that I despise all Boston area sports teams and he is an admitted Boston homer. At least he admits it though.

Draft picks in the NBA draft hold the least amount of value out of all the big 4 sports in North America.

I don't think it matters anyway, there's only a handful of legitimate championship contenders in any given year. IMO, Brooklyn still is not one even after this trade.

What? Not a single one of those picks will be close to the lottery. Even after Garnett and Pierce retire, Brooklyn will just buy someone else and make the playoffs.

But the ability to package them and *still* have their own first rounder is huge. Plus, getting rid of Terry's contract was a big deal. They've got plenty of money to throw around now, plus whatever they can get for Rondo who if healthy will garner a large return. It might take 3 years, but the C's are in good shape.
