Am I the only person who wants Charlotte FC to fail badly as punishment for MLS for snubbing the Triangle?

Similarly, will the Triangle ever get a second major pro sports team or does the civic will just not exist here? It's annoying to see a smaller metro like Cincinnati have more going for it sports wise than here because they were bigger and had the civic will we sadly lack for MLS. What are we doing wrong?
I don't feel like doing this again.

In my years growing up in NC, I never went to Holden Beach. I like its low key feel.

brother caught a nice sized black tipped shark off the shore this morning and a guy next to us caught a baby hammerhead. Caught some pompano. Most too small to keep.

@sabremike you in this at all?

You can see me in a few crowd shots. Most games I was in the lobby working the 50/50 table the first two periods. Here I am in 2020 at the DIA:

Family used to go to Ocean Isle every year for a week-long vacation. Loved it and miss it.

There's a radio station in Spartanburg that I sometimes get a signal from in the car, they're already getting a start on Christmas music. Its 87 degrees outside and all the leaves are still on the trees, let's wait another two months yeah?

Edit: looks like it's only for the Labor Day Weekend.

That still seems pretty odd though for them to play Christmas music for Labor Day Weekend

Things took a seriously bad turn over the holiday and I lost my smiley, tomboy princess today. She lived a fabulous 12 years.

Trying to focus on all the joy she delivered. She rocked a good bandana.

I don't know if there is an afterlife let alone a heaven, but if heaven does exist it has to incorporate this, doesn't it?

I am so sorry. The unconditional love they give us is magic in a world of turmoil. Her memories will be in your heart when ever you need them.

My wife’s been busy for months now. Too busy, really. There was one long weekend, and I was out of town, where she had 25 visits/day, for 3 days. And she lingers and gives time to the animals, too.

Yeah, it's been nice to get work again, but I get a little annoyed when I'm getting contracted by clients I haven't heard from since pre-Covid and they're giving me less than 24 hours notice that they'd like my services. And I accept it, because money, but still reserve the right to bitch about it.

Also, my day off was hampered by the fact that apparently, despite making an appointment two weeks beforehand and bringing in my car as soon as they opened (8:30), the shop was still unable to work on it in that 9-10 hour period. They assured me it'd be top priority this morning, which I have (probably foolishly) taken their word at.

Turns out a car is rather important to do the job. Can't exactly work from home.

Sorry to hear this, dogs (and pets in general) are 100% part of our families and just as hard to lose. I already know I'll probably be comatose when that time comes for my pupper (she's an energetic 4.5 y/o still)...she helped me through some tough times with a bad breakup, always unconditional love and brings a smile to my face. Your girl looks so happy and well-cared for, and that's really all they ever ask!
