Well unfortunately our best netminder is out with a medical issue and may never play again.
Raanta is more or less a glue guy. Pytor one night looks awesome and the next night either he gets left out to dry or just sucks.
I've advocated for Duncan the Walrus from the Geico commercials but sadly he is a fictional character. Would be helpful to have him though.

Our defense went from looking like the best in the cap era to arguably one of the worst on ice in a quarter of a season.
Skjei and Chatty have their brain farts, but have been a net positive overall.
Orlov struggled horribly to start but looks like he's starting to find his groove.
Burns looks like we may have gotten the best out of him already and will likely be a net neutral at best this year. Lots of painful giveaways and failure to hold the blue line and shin shattering shots with little else
Slavin looks painfully human, and the last 5 games or so has actually been, dare I say it, bad. He contributes nothing offensively, which is ok when he's elite defensively, but he's not right now.
Pesce looked like he was losing a step last year and has been flat out awful this year. He's gone Vlasic, thankfully prior to the big payday. I'm not sure he's even a #6D right now
TDA is just an adventure. He could work with the right partner maybe but he's not been the guy from 2 seasons ago.

Post of the day and along with goal keeping probably keeps DW up at night.
It’s not even sloppiness tonight like some of the other ugly games this season. They’re just getting badly outskated. You rarely see that from this group.
So... this thread has far more life then the team we are supposedly watching

We known Burns was fighting some illness, Svech was held out a game with an illness. I’m hoping a bug is going around the team, that is the only explanation for their play that doesn’t suck more than this team.

So aside from bad goaltending and bad defensive play, we continue to not have anyone on offense step up and be a consistent scorer.
One night Jarvis looks awesome, the next he almost looks like an AHLer. Necas in a contract year has like 1 good game in every 10. Svech has had a horrible calendar year. KK was hot and now has reverted into nothing. TT is invisible. Aho could be a 100 point scorer but isn't.
We've got way too many guys who mentally don't have "it" right now.

It's something else every night. The team just isn't good. Our goalies suck and we can't score. Doesn't matter how good the defense is when any crack turns into a goal and every offensive chance turns into a shot to the chest logo
This powerplay has no real threat you look at Tampas and they got stamkos and kuch on the wings for one timers and hedman up top with a bomb and then point in the bumper spot. Ours is just way to predictable

And I'm sorry, but Brindy has been saying all year the team hasn't been good and nobody seems to be listening. Maybe they have tuned him out.
