Still f*** Kakko for missing the net in game one. If we lose the series I'll never forgive that soft euro bust piece of shit.
He has to figure it out in game. He is horrible at adjustments. DinosaurCanes played a hell of a game. Their defense was relentless. Galant has to figure out better line combinations. On to game 6. If we win that then winning game 7 would be the perfect set up for this underdog team.
They all have one speed, and that's 3/4 as fast as Carolina. You ever try to mark someone who is only 3/4 as fast as you? It's stupid easy.Garbage game, didn't have the puck all game. I don't understand how we have so little space in their zone in Carolina. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.
Outcoached. You can also say outcoached.Simply outplayed, out-hustled and outreached. Not much else to say.
I'm telling you. Edmonton will do something really dumb if they blow this series against Calgary. Trading Draisaitl level stupid. A ton of assets plus Panarin out and Draisaitl in would fix so many problems with the roster balance of this squad. They'll probably win on Saturday but can we send Panarin to which ever team signs Strome this summer?
Is it conditioning or are we just a slow team overall?
Carolina is clearly better conditioned stamina wise AND much more agile and quick. GG wanted more speed so they brought in Motte and Vatrano but they have no IQ.Is it conditioning or are we just a slow team overall?
Kid can not create anything on his own unless it's along the boards and even that is iffy right now.Kakko can't possibly get more than 2 on his next contract.
We’ll force game 7. It seems like beating Carolina at home is illegal, but I guess we’ll find out.
Here’s the deal.
I hate Ryan Strome. I hate playoff Panarin and playoff Kreider.
that’s all.
Whole team had little dick energy.
Trade Panarin.
I would do thisI'm telling you. Edmonton will do something really dumb if they blow this series against Calgary. Trading Draisaitl level stupid. A ton of assets plus Panarin out and Draisaitl in would fix so many problems with the roster balance of this squad.
I just don't buy the "he's hurt" thing. Everyone to a man is playing with some type of discomfort. It's called playoff hockey. Fox is not a fast player, never has been. He got beat standing still, and to me, it was as simple as that. He was not going to catch Svechnikov on that breakaway. Panarin might be hurt, but it doesn't excuse his braindead puck management.
This team needs to become more of a team that plays along the walls and between the circles in the offensive zone. I actually thought they did a decent job all series playing along the walls at least in the neutral zone. But once again, when you trail, you have to open it up and at the same time Carolina went to their defensive shell.
