Thought Griffith was really solid today, all in all everyone was pretty good. Seids still looks like he's getting used to game speed, and Chara and Bergy weren't good for their high standards.

Hopefully we can keep this up against a hot Isles team

Yes,Griffith looked good and hope he can keep it up but that RW spot with Krejci and Lucic still seems like a black hole.Is Griffith 2 years away from realistically holding that spot down.?I think Krug for the moment is holding his own in a top 4 role and in my opinion it is the only way we might be able to offset the loss of Boychuck.

Just in from the game.

What a great win for the B's (against a good team) !!!!

Looch and Marchy were excellent. I KNEW they would be fine :p:

Nice to see Seth get his first !

Before the game we were talking to a young man who came all the way from Alaska to see the B's. He had been a Nucks fan but was disgusted with them in 2011 and decided to become a B's fan. He had seats in 301 but came down with us for the pregame skate. One of the guys who works for the B's gave him a hat and he also got a puck.

Nice kid. I told him to join this board so he would have someone to talk B's with..

We had fun tonight. My daughter went with us. The Sharks are her second favorite team.

It's really nice to see them pull off a character win tonight. Pretty sure some big changes would have been brewing had they dropped this one.

Yeah, but he builds up the gas, you know? Like when you're on a first date.

And then, at the worst possible time... he lets a real prize winner rip.

Going in for the first kiss

Like tonight in the corner when he was driving to a wide open lane to the net and inexplicably left the puck in thr corner while continuing on.

Good game, good win, good that I didn`t pop on here at 4am before work to see/read the panic stricken posts I have over the last 2 weeks as a team, gawd forbid, struggled a bit outta the gate

We are on a collision with June hockey - I have seen Gagne and I like what I see

pleasantly surprised myself to be honest with the early returns. Hasn`t translated into pts but he`s mostly been playing 4th line minutes and for league minimum....not bad at all

May be right. Could have a bruised foot from that shot he blocked. Definitely on off-night for that line when they're -2 or whatever.

That`s the one I look at which could be hampering him a bit..a bad night for Bergy is still above average

Bart played well tonight, if he stays on the third pairing, I think that would be good for him. For what they have to invest in Krug coming up, best to give him more minutes with Seids and see if he can handle it, which I think he did as well.

Great win, but even with the goal tonight and even if he's this years R. Smith, Griffith on the top line will not do come playoffs.

Except for the second goal. That was his man and he was caught watching the puck.

Yeah that was rough. The D as a whole was doing that last night. I was wondering if it was a communication or familiarity issue, but still you can't double up a guy who has his back to the net and leave the trailer wide open ten steps in front of the net

That was an entertaining hockey game

Congrats GRIFF :yo: hopefully many more.
This kid's always in the sweet spots, it's like the puck follows him ...was like that in the "O" too, great IQ

Wow, a rare bad night all around for Bergy.

I honestly expected it especially because he was up against Pavelski. He got thrown out a lot last night.

He made some uncharacteristic mistakes but I have no doubt he'll be much better tomorrow.

SJ did a great job neutralizing that line.

So where was John Scott running all over our team tonight and intimidating them? We DEFINITELY needed Chris Breen or Bobby Robins in the lineup to take care of him tonight, right? :sarcasm:

is it just me or does Krug seem to be doing everything right?

Yeah, he f-ed up on that goal of theirs big time but take that play away and him stepping up to the second pairing with Seidenberg was a huge success. I like the idea of keeping those 2 and Dougie and Z together.

He threw three checks early well after the play, the Bruins didn't engage him like normal and he disappeared. Bruins are spot pickers, sad but true.

Just a fantastic win.

David Krejci looks like a different player...attitude wise...He is a definitely a true leader now and he is showing it.

Liked basically everything...Could be a launching pad game.

Exactly. If you ignore him, and keep playing your game, the coach will stop icing him. The only reason the coach sends him out there is to cheap shot someone or to take a player off the ice that matters on the other team. If the team ignores him, he's useless.

I'm not against Robins on the ice, etc, etc. But I feel its a complete waste of time to give John Scott the spotlight. He is a poor excuse for a hockey player, and shouldn't be paid any attention because all he is trying to do is hurt people and if you ignore him, he can't do anything.

And to your point about Krejci, another fantastic night. 4 game point streak already. Big, big game for him.

I forgot Scott was even playing last night.
He played 5 mins. Probably hurt them more than anything having to shorten the bench not to play him.

I like the perseverance we showed last night. We're gonna need it if we want to amount to anything this year.
