Although i get people are still sore and have a soft spot for Johnny (with me its Seguin) wishing him to score against the Bs is not on sorry! Team first. Hope its a shutout win for us 5 zip. He'll have his welcome back and his applause but once the puck drops its war

:amazed:

If you see Felger and Mazz and their pressure as part of the solution to "fixing the issue", that really tells me all I need to know about your hot takes.

It's not really. I just enjoy listening to them when they really get going. Although I don't think they have talked about anything non-Patriots since the Boychuk trade so I haven't listened much.

And I don't think it hurts us if we win even if he scored a couple goals. I'd love to see another Johnny Rocket in the Garden. His slapshot is so heavy, so perfect when it hits the net.

I want the Bruins to win tomorrow night and I believe they will.

That said I want Johnny Boychuk to remind the Bruins brain trust just what a stupid move this trade was throughout the game.

Pretty significant double standard on HF towards the Bruins as well. Maybe the NHL fans are brainwashed from watching it every night on the ice vs the Bruins.

It's not even coming from the mods, it's the fans of other teams. Trust me, I used to be a mod there. Bruins fans just aren't allowed to have a significant discussion on that board because other idiot fan bases come in to troll and the thread ends up getting shut down.

The only one recently that I could not understand was why there were 3 threads bashing the bruins after the montreal game, but we couldn't talk about the laser pointer incident.

I dare you to try and have an actual, meaningful discussion there, it's impossible.

I wish Johnny Rocket the very best, but I won't be rooting for him to score against my favorite team! If this were the Sinden or OC era, the sentiment would be different.

What's going on here? Lamenting the loss of the Johnny Rocket in a B"s big win thread? Don't get it.

It was a cap-move of a solid player. It was business. Think about how you wish they approached it and offer suggestions....maybe in the Johnny Boychuk thread.

Am I confusing this with something else, or did Bergy take 2 monster shots a few games ago that really had him bent over in pain?

Reason I ask is because I'm fairly sure he's playing hurt. Maybe not injured, but definitely hurt.

He had to go to the locker room and pass a concussion test a few games back.

Having been through the Harry Sinden years as a fan, I find it incredible that fans can be so negative about this team that year in year out for the past 4 years are cup contenders. Maybe they have become spoiled and expect the b's to win every night, but I tell you people, enjoy what you have....I am!!!

I'm with you--it doesn't get much better than this.

I love Boychuk. Absolutely hated the trade. Wish him the best, but not against Boston.

Really, really, really don't get it.

Agree 100%.

I'll be cheering for him tonight when they thank him for all he did here in Boston and then it's back to beating the Islanders and not caring what he does when he's not facing us.
