Brown doesn't have all the polished skills some first line wingers have. (look at his shootouts_Carter is way better). What he does have is the ability to hold his own and flatten the other teams top players. Still love that hit on the Sedin from the cup run.. you know the one where Sedin was twitching after..

Brown getting 5.5-6M... Kinda defeats the purpose of putting an inexpensive physical hitter on the LW... Just hope the cap goes up enough to allow for it.

Brown for Eberle ... not about worth, MacT wants some players with more of a nasty streak... Edm has tons of small skilled forwards.. MacT would take a look at it if Brown were on the table. (not saying this should be done BTW)

It depends on who we get back in the trade.

If its an upgrade, doesnt bother me at all.
If its a downgrade, it bothers me a lot.

If he leaves via UFA, then I'm super pissed.

Why do people keep saying that about Brown and shootout's .

There is a reason Brown is always in them, he is around 30% lifetime in Shootout's, that is above the league Average BTW, which is 24 to 27%

No way I'd want to see Brown traded. He's the closest thing we have to a power forward, and we need more guys like that, not less. That said, I'd like to see him move down to the 2nd line LW position and break that top line up. They were invisible in the most recent playoffs and ****ing frustrating to watch, especially Kopitar.

There's no way the kings can loose Brown as free agent. Lombardi has never been able to sign a first line talent to a ufa contract. And if Brown leaves the only way Lombardi could replace him is signing someone on the first day of free agency. Since Lombardi has been the GM that has never happend. If they can sign him for 5.3mil they should, but if he asks for 6 mil they should trade him in a player for player deal.
