So, is tonight's game really going to be shown on Bally Sports West as originally announced? Bacause BSW website says it's going to be the Angels at Oakland baseball game in that time slot.
NHL.com is particularly chaotic about pre-season games, and I found that it said tonight's game starts at both 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. But I guess it's the regular puckdrop time at 7 p.m., right?
(Which would make it my usual "hockey breakfast TV from LA", with the puckdrop at 4 a.m. Well, that's always preferable to East Coast games that tend to start at 1 a.m.)
Most of all, NHL.tv is in utter disarray here in Europe, and with the regular season just around the corner, they still haven't announced the pricing for the new season, so it's currently impossible to subscribe to anything. It's the first time that something like that has ever happened, because they usually announce pricing about a month in advance.
Many European hockey fans now fear there's going to be an enormous price hike (on top of the 20% European VAT taxes slapped onto the NHL.tv subscription price, and on top of the euro falling below the value of the dollar for the first time in like 20 years).
But many fear something even worse than that: that it's going to become impossible to subscribe to any streaming product whatsoever, or if so, it's going to be so riddled with blackouts that subscribing to it will make no sense (especially with those price hikes).
The future (very near future) will tell, I guess.
