The system isn’t proven not to work. All that’s been proven is that he hasn’t been able to get this group of players to adhere to it. We agree that a coaching change is needed, I just don’t think it’s the long term fix.

When Jacques Martin wa where there was a culture more then a system - score first, win the special teams battle, play 2 way hockey, discipline low penalties I can still remember it years later

What’s the culture or system for D.J.? go hard? get bounces? Never quit? He’s been here for years and I still don’t know what his system is because I’ve never seen it work properly

Otherwise a 3 x 4-5 in one of about 3 to 5 teams in the league would have dramatically increased your chances of a Cup.

The reason I am for replacing the coaching staff is the continued lack of repercussions for dumb mistakes.

1. Blowing the zone early.
- the issue is the early part. Brady is one of the worst culprits. Forwards are assuming rather than seeing puck recovery.

2. Collapsing to the crease.
- this is what all teams do once there is sustained pressure, the issue is too much sustained pressure (see point 1).

3. Too many dump ins
- this team is so dumb they continually turn the puck over at the blue line. Stutzle, Batherson are the biggest culprits. That’s why we dump and chase more often than I’d like.

4. Too many “too many men penalties”
- we blame the coach but dumb players do dumb things.

Coaching staff needs to go but the secondary core needs some serious shuffling.

You don’t think #3 is the staff telling them to do that?
