People celebrating a victory... what would you think I would be on a thread about jobs being on the line if they loose? Doug Gilmour trade and how Sullivan shouldn't have been waived and Smith was let go to soon. McCauley was a generation to early.

People make mistakes honestly its not your fault so don't take it personal. This teams good. That good why not try cheering for your team for once. Why an earth would you be hear to tell us why among 30 other teams we lost.

It's a Leaf thread I'll take the L on the jays, however AA throw slot away and masked it on hope they lived up to said lvl. Like a 42 year old dickie would be a 2 time Cy young
.. sells jerseys however I wanted one not sure why other then funny name.. that said there was an SS that was pretty obvious that he was done. Plus it's not rocket science maybe it was but they told us so we didn't have to figure it out. Colorado is an HR park yes so is the skydome however you cut it the skydome doesn't have math to assist the ball... see troll response gets troll post. If I didn't think I could even though I said I wouldn't. It's bait... leafs made round 2 deal with it.and they are Good. So enjoy it for however long it lasts. If your a fan of the leafs you would know that too....trolls love tea I heard...
 
If they lose badly this series jobs are on the line imo.

That said they got outplayed in the Tampa series, but they actually outplayed and outchanced florida in this game.

If they play that way but clean up the bonehead mistakes and goaltending they will win the series.

i dunno Shanny told him his extension depends on the success of the team this year so I dont think Shanny is going anywhere yet
 
So if we lose this series, just re-sign everybody, run it back next season? Mission accomplished? I wouldn’t want them to get complacent. Once again, if you shake up the core doesn’t mean you have to take a step back. Ask the Raptors and Masai. 1 round win in 7 years is not enough.

None if I am the owners. They need to at least win this series and you don't do it by having yet another game where they play a half a game and go to sleep. Samsonov kept them in to start and they did nothing with it yet again.

Show up or go Golf, what the heck did they work for all this time? To play a half a game or less?

Ya it doesn't look good to just show up, punch in and then walk out of the building for the day. You need to do some work before you get respect.

Worth remembering that an ownership board like the MLSE one isn't going to be making decisions as if they're fans. It's going to be a fairly unemotional process - do they think the team is well run and is it delivering in terms of league and financial success.

Regardless of how one personally feels about Dubas', the safest bet is going to be continuity of personnel. Especially after winning that round
