I love that he was condemned to being a PP specialist and is now one of the best ES scorers in the league.

Last season was literally the only season he averaged under a goal per 60 minutes 5v5 (top 30 to top 40 in the NHL). And he had poor shooting luck then.

He's frankly always been a better goal scorer 5v5 than on the PP on a relative basis,

Dach would be higher than Kakko if he’d played last year.

When it’s all over I think Caufield will pass Boldy and be the 2nd highest scorer in that draft.

Needs 10 in his last 21 for 40. Very doable. 40 was the target I had hoped he'd get to this season.

That being said, after his scorching start I was hoping for 50...

Let's get to 40 and we can worry about bigger targets later. Hopefully he can pull it off. That'd be a great year for him, esp after the surgery from last season. He's been our most consistent player this season. Really good at creating plays and driving the offense.

Anythig below 30 would be a disaster
Anything below 40 would be disappointing based on his very strong start
Anything above 40 would be great
Anything above 50 would be absolutely amazing

I would really like to see him hit 40.

It seems they're starting to use Laine as a decoy to open up space for other options on the pp, including Cole.
