I think he's playing hurt since coming backStill terrible right now...
I don't see 2nd line C in Pinto at this time; the offensive skills are missing. However, he is young enough to possibly get there in the future. If he could start scoring outside of just shooting from the slot- tips, backhands, rebounds he could be a 2nd line C but I don’t think he has that offense.
He’s like Mike Fisher, only thing stopping him from being an excellent 2nd line C is scoring but probably the best 3rd line C in the game
He hasn’t even played 200 games, I don’t think he’s close to a finished product at all.People who think he can be a first line centre are delusional. He's already 24 years old and close to a finished product..
He'll get a little better but right now he is an upper tier 3rd liner/lower tier 2nd liner. Best I can see him doing is a solid 2 way 2nd liner that maxes out at 60 -65 points. And that would be fine.He hasn’t even played 200 games, I don’t think he’s close to a finished product at all.
I don’t think he’ll ever be a true 1C but the idea that he won’t get better is a stretch.
I expect that once Perron & Giroux are both gone that Greig & Pinto will move up into the top six.
I was thinking more that Cozens might move to the wing.Greig very likely.
Pinto very unlikely. There’s 0% chance Pinto plays wing.

Does he go top 15 in a re-draft?100 career points for Pinto!
May he score like 900 more as a Senator

Do you see any exceptional quality/qualities that can make him a # 1 centre? I don't. What I see is a very well rounded player who plays well at both ends of the ice. Not one aspect stands out but he is good at virtually all things.Development isn't always linear, and he has missed a lot of hockey over the last few years due to injuries and then the suspension.
I don't know that he becomes a "1C" in the way people use that term where there aren't 32 players who meet that criteria in the league, but I think he will be one of those players who is a luxury to have in the second line center spot. Stutzle/Pinto/Cozens is a pretty ridiculous group.
I'd say yes. Some other players have made some leaps and make other convo interesting (McMichael, Protas, Voronkov, Maccelli, Harley). I take Pinto before Dach, Newhook, Kakko, Zegras.Does he go top 15 in a re-draft?
Agree, but we also have Halliday C who leads Belleville in scoring who most likely might be on the team as soon as next season. We'll see.I don’t see it. Our strenght comes from the middle.
