I can make up numbers tooHe wont be ppg by years end. He is 3M overpaid in the reg season as a 75-80 pt guy
Playoffs he falls to a low end 2C player as a 55 pt guy
A lot to prove after 5 years of being the main reason this group has failed
Career 55 point guy Horvat just got 8 long term.He wont be ppg by years end. He is 3M overpaid in the reg season as a 75-80 pt guy

To me its more like what's the point? NMC and home town boy they fellated to get here so he's not going anywhere. Nothing new here. Its not like MLSE is watching this board for direction so maybe lets find a new whipping boy because everybody knows everybody's opinion of JTHe's healthy and he probably has changed his w/o return because he looks quicker and more fluid.
In the long run though I do not tend to criticize career-long point per game players, and adding to that thought I cant see why any body would. He goes out, gives max effort, completes checks, back checks rarely takes a shift or game off.
Thats a bad deal for sure still im not sure what Horvats playoffs production is (better or worse)Career 55 point guy Horvat just got 8 long term.
He's not slowed down yet!
Main reason for Tavares success? Nylander's dominance.
Agreed, he hasn’t looked this quick/mobile in about 3 years. Don’t know what he did this offseason, but it worked. Hope he can keep skating like this all season/playoffs, he’s a much better player when he’s moving like this. He's speed bursting every game like it's pre-2020. You wonder if he had offseason surgery to remove the lead weights from his feet or something. Well done JT.
Maybe it took awhile for Nylander and Tavares to find chemistry. I noticed they pass to each other a lot better in all 3 zones.Agreed, he hasn’t looked this quick/mobile in about 3 years. He’s really driving the play consistently at ES the season, vs. the past couple years where he was more of an ES passenger who mostly only made a significant positive impact on the PP. Love to see it!
