How are you feeling about our goalie situation going into the year after the preseason

Couldn't find a predictions thread of this, so locking in mine before the season starts.

- Leafs rank 8th-10th in GA and SV%
- Murray plays ~55 games this season and ends up Top 5 in SV% (0.925 to 0.930)
- Murray starts the playoffs for the Leafs and steals a few crucial games. No significant injury time beyond wear and tear. Team loses in the ECF. Murray signs a 5 x $6M year extension in offseason.

Murray:
GP 55, Wins 33, SV% 0.927, GAA 2.28

Samsonov:
GP 22, Wins 13, SV% 0.918, GAA 2.56

Kallgren:
GP 5, Wins 2, SV% 0.900, GAA 2.96

Think it's crazy that we are going into this pivotal season with 2 project goalies in net. With a better defense / team defense in front of them, I expect the results will be fine.

However, I'm convinced either of them is capable of taking this team on a cup run.

I also think Jack Campbell posts better numbers / has a better season than both of them.

I expect both Bouchard & Murray to move up the lineup before the end of the season.

It's still not in the same realm as the Leafs D. We don't have a cap crippling contract like Murse, errr...Nurse.

Both Leafs goalies so far have passed the eye test under the sample we have so far.

They'll now start the real games with a strong team iced in front of them - a good situation for each guy to continue to succeed in. Murray playing behind a tire fire of a Sens team really doesn't tell us much of what to expect.

Then comes the playoffs where one of them is untested and the other has probably the best historical track record of any available guys this offseason.
