I like Bo.

I hate this stupid beast mode thing. Reminds me of y'alls undying devotion for Kesler.

Bo's doing really good right now. I'm down with the encouragement. It's just when he inevitably has a rough patch where I facepalm at some of the things I will read.

I mean, he pretty much made Toews his ***** tonight. Not alone, there was good help from Edler-Tanev who are playing out of their minds right now.

4-1 Canucks. None of my pool picks did squat, but oh well.

Really hard to find fault in any part of this game. So help me, even the Sbisa--Bieksa pairing was good. All Hawks big guns neutered, Horvat owns Toews on the dot. Didn't see that one coming. Does this mean all the Nikushkin talk is finally going to dry up?

Sedin line a little too cute sometimes as usual, but had extended zone time and eventually broke through.

Hansen officially elevated to Hawk killer.

Horvat's an NHL player, and he's officially here to stay. So nice to see that the two-way game is already pro level; usually rookies need to be taught that (ie: Vey). Turning into a stone killer in the faceoff circle, and quadrupled his NHL point total. w00t! Our own little Baby Bergeron is ahead of schedule. :sarcasm:

Dorsett-Horvat-Hansen = obviously deadly tonight.

Honestly can't think of a Canuck who didn't play well. All we need to do is convince them that every night's Daniel Sedin night.

GO CANUCKS GO!!!

What a great, complete game.

Pretty much everyone played well and the defence really held up without Hamhuis; 1st pair was beastly as usual, Sbisa - Bieksa extremely solid and Stanton - Weber very serviceable.

Miller was steady but didn't have to do much.

That's so bad... just so bad. Anyone know how other teams compare?

The Jets have not yet seen a hat trick. The Thrashers last had one in 2010 (Eric Boulton!) After them, the longest stretch is Colorado who hasn't had one since November, 2011, just a month before our last one.

After that, you've got the BJ's at the end of the 2011-2012 season; Philly, Florida and Buffalo last had one in 2013, and then 13 teams who had one last year and 10 who've had one this year, (eleven now with Vancouver.)

TOEWS WAS A -4! HAHAHA

First, Horvat makes Kesler look like a chump, and now Toews.

Horvat Intangibles > Toews Intangibles + Kesler Intangibles.

Toews had an awful game... it's crazy just how bad of a game he had.

He was -4, with 0 shots, 0 hits and 38% on faceoffs in 19+ minutes of play.

I don't know if his line ever saw the Canucks zone. The Sedins had them hemmed in their zone it seemed like every time and if they could get the puck out, Edler/Tanev made short work of breaking up the play. Beautiful.

Best performance of the season. Very impressive, better team from start to finish in all aspects of the game. Huge game in every respect, big win.

- Miller had a strong bounce-back game and was solid and composed. Didn't have to make a lot of tough saves because the defense was so good, but did what he needed to.

- Tanev and Edler ate Chicago's top players for lunch tonight. While there will (rightly) be a lot of talk about the 4th line, these guys were the engine for the win. Checked Toews into the ground. Edler was focused and assertive, best game of the season for him.

- Bieksa also had his best game of the season aside from the St. Louis game early on. Skated well and no stupid moments. Sbisa passed the puck terribly but defended well and was positionally solid. Loved the tone-setting borderline early hit on Kane.

- 3rd pairing played their minutes well. Improved game from Stanton.

- Sedins celebrated Daniel's 1000th game with a strong effort. Easily won their matchup against Chicago's top players and were dangerous all night. Treatment they get from the refs is still garbage, though.

- 2nd line has really fallen off without Burrows. Vey is such a marginal player right now and should not be playing so much. Just plays so small.

- 3rd line wasn't bad and had a lot of shots, but their icetime was the victim of the strong game from the 4th line.

- 4th line obviously awesome. Horvat just booked his ticket for the rest of the season. Could see some confidence and flow starting to come into his game. Will move ahead of Richardson pretty quickly if this keeps up. Really stoked for Hansen, could see how happy he was after the game. Excellent player who has been so unfairly criticized here. Dorsett strong again also.

- PP still sucks. PK still strong.

Still the first two goals is the 4th line getting a goal with "Selke" winner Toews on the ice.

Then it's the Sedins and the empty netter which you'd obviously have Toews on to get a goal with the extra man.
