Post-Game Talk: Holl and Keefe hand Tampa the victory

lets be honest, if we looked at the games without knowing the outcomes, it would be fair to say the majority would assume we would have been the team that got eliminated tonight. i get that in the playoffs results are the only thing that matter, but at some point there has to be pushback doesnt there? we have been soundly outplayed in all but probably 4 periods so far. not good enough man.

If holl was legitimate defenseman that goal would never would have happened but holl is slow useless pylon who should never see ice again

Samsonov and Holl cost us the game.

It's fun to shit on the Leafs, but they were objectively the better team that game. Not that it matters anymore... but people are acting like they went out there and got dominated. Holl got dominated, no doubt.

I could almost stomach Holl and Muzzin because Muzzin was a beast a few years back but putting random D who can't play 1.5X of a D's job alongside him is flat out insane.
 
Of course they're going to win the next game; of course we're going to game 7; of course we're going to lose that too.

I saw him trying and tried to muscle his way through. Hopefully, he will built on this and dominate in Game 6. We are overdue for a JT moments and he usually strike every 3-4 games.

Total poor team effort all around. We were outskated and beat to the puck all night long. And Sami looked awkward out there as well. If it takes a 110% effort to win, I'd say that we gave about 70 to 75%. Not nearly good enough.

Your meter was watching a different game than me, I guess. The Leafs were better than in the last two games and had their moments but Tampa still seemed to dictate most of the play.
 
The loser mentality in here is just mind blowing. We played pretty well tonight against a very good team and the best goalie in the world was the difference for them. We have two cracks to win one more game and anyone who thinks the series is over and we lost is just suffering from a mega dose of PTSD.

I think I'm not going to spend much time here next couple of days, this place is just too negative. All streaks end, our losing streak will end one day too and no reason it can't end the next game and if not then, no reason it can't end game 7. These next two games, sure it'll be would soul crushing if we lose but all that history and pressure will just make it that much sweeter if we win. This is what it's all about, if the pressure is too much for some of you then don't watch and play Parcheese instead or something and that's fine. But spewing your negativity all over this forum does nothing for anyone.

Should be a great game Saturday, looking forward to it. GLG!!

Considering the fact that Samsonov is the Leafs starting goalie and Keefe won't take out Holl...that's a very bad thing. Game 6 what do you think Cooper is going to do every last change?

Fans are quick to forget all the chances we had. Marner had a freaking breakaway, Rielly hit the post. Tavares got in 1 on 1 with Vasi, people forget all the missed chances at the end of the game - the meter doesn't.
