A win is a win.

2 points closer to the playoffs.

Top line hit and miss... they are clearly not the same line without Ehlers.

CSW was great, and then ESW was great, and now CSW isn't as good. Hopefully Ehlers is back ASAP.
Also, it's not good that Morrow, Chiarot, Niku, Kulikov are all playing - we need Buff soon.

For me it's not just these last couple of games, since Dec 16th (the Tampa game), while I have enjoyed the wins I have felt unequivocally good about only the Stars and the Oilers games. They were really good going in the stretch leading upto and including the Tampa game. I agree the injuries didn't help tonight or last night but in fairness we played Detroit.

But as others have said you seem to always see the negative as a default. You can still point out shortcomings and not come across as a negative nelly. Be more like "The Jets played poorly (and describe why) but I'm glad they won" in stead of "The Jets won but it feels like a loss and i have lost confidence of them as a contender"

If the Jets starting losing games and fall off the top 3 of their division, then I would probably start echoing your sentiments. Maybe they're just saving their best for the home stretch and playoffs?

Was going to be a little hard on them but after b2b and 3in4 and 4in6 nights it's hard to. Any team that can win a 4th game in 6 nights against a well rested team should get a little slack it would hard for them to outplay and outshoot any team tonight for 60 minutes

Post-game audio:

Players: Bryan Little, Laurent Brossoit & Josh Morrissey.

Coach Maurice scrum topics: Quicker start by the Jets, was that one of their better 1st periods? When it was 3-1 did the Jets sit back? Did five games in eight days factor in? Putting into perspective what Laurent Brossoit has done. On the play of Bryan Little. Why have the Jets been so good 4 on 4? What did he think of Niku's game? What did he think of the D overall? Is he disappointed with the effort? What effect has Brossoit's play had on Hellebuyck? Why was there a delay after Tanev's goal?

Well whenever I say anything negative about the Jets I say it out of love not for the sake of negativity. I was also almost entirely positive in the PGTs for the long stretch leading upto and including the Tampa game. But I get your point, it's just in my nature to look at and worry about "the darkest timeline".

I have not lost confidence in them as a contender at all. Just commenting on individual games, they have the talent to turn it on by April.

Edit: Paul Maurice seems as pissed about that game as I have seen him all season so my opinion about tonight is not a fringe opinion

Bro only .943 and still unbeaten but hey Mo will ride ol’ .908 for the next 10 just because!

Lame still doing squat, looked slightly better!

Game was way closer than it should have been with the Jets outshot badly.

3rd line good again other lines so-so

Niku Morrow unimpressive, would Schilling- Nogier be any different.

A win is a win, onward and upward!

My take is you know we can be really good and that we are really good. We all also know every team has its ups and downs throughout the season and times they seem disinterested. The really good teams still win those games and pile up the points. We will make the playoffs and most likely be one of the top seeds. At that point they will be very very interested and it then becomes about being healthy, playing with intensity (which they will) and goaltending.

Did not catch whole game but minutes I did catch I really liked Niku. So smooth and watching him you know he's just about to break out. Really exciting guy.

Went to the Warrior game so I missed the Jets. Anyone got a synopsis?
We won. I was there and drank some beer. We didn't play our best but the Wings have no finish to truly threaten. Brossoit was great again. Took a cab home and poured a glass of wine. If you want more than that you'll have to wait for Whileee to post ;):).

Somewhere nice
If Jets coach sat players for mistakes they make during games.

Scheifele and Wheeler and Byfuglien will hardly be playing at all :D

Niku will be a good one.
We need a defenseman like him. Will be a good fit with these Jets forward core.
