Top line hit and miss... they are clearly not the same line without Ehlers.
Lost against the "State of Hockey", won against the "Town of Hockey".
Okay.
NO! then he'll shill us for Millions.Brossoit needs to be starting more. A lot more.
A win is a win.
2 points closer to the playoffs.
not as happy as i would be if we whooped them 5-1 but it was a back to back. def delighted with the 2 points though !I take it you are delighted with this game then against the 29th place team?
I haz the Internetz of Hockyishs! *cat jpg *Well we are the "Country of Hockey"
I thought he played a helluva game?CSW was great, and then ESW was great, and now CSW isn't as good. Hopefully Ehlers is back ASAP.
Also, it's not good that Morrow, Chiarot, Niku, Kulikov are all playing - we need Buff soon.
For me it's not just these last couple of games, since Dec 16th (the Tampa game), while I have enjoyed the wins I have felt unequivocally good about only the Stars and the Oilers games. They were really good going in the stretch leading upto and including the Tampa game. I agree the injuries didn't help tonight or last night but in fairness we played Detroit.
Start the carWent to the Warrior game so I missed the Jets. Anyone got a synopsis?
Good article. Not that the losingest coach in nhl history would follow what cup winning coaches do.Croissant's still got it!!! He definitely deserves more starts, eh?
Oh, and special message for Maurice: Ideal workload for starting goalie on playoff-bound teams
But as others have said you seem to always see the negative as a default. You can still point out shortcomings, and not come across as a negative nelly. Be more like "The Jets played poorly (and describe why) but I'm glad they won" in stead of "The Jets won but it feels like a loss and i have lost confidence of them as a contender"
If the Jets starting losing games and fall off the top 3 of their division, then I would probably start echoing your sentiments. Maybe their just saving their best for the home stretch and playoffs?
My take is you know we can be really good and that we are really good. We all also know every team has its ups and downs throughout the season and times they seem disinterested. The really good teams still win those games and pile up the points. We will make the playoffs and most likely be one of the top seeds. At that point they will be very very interested and it then becomes about being healthy, playing with intensity (which they will) and goaltending. For me it's not just these last couple of games, since Dec 16th (the Tampa game), while I have enjoyed the wins I have felt unequivocally good about only the Stars and the Oilers games. SoftyWas going to be a little hard on them but after b2b and 3in4 and 4in6 nights it's hard to. Any team that can win a 4th game in 6 nights against a well rested team should get a little slack it would hard for them to outplay and outshoot any team tonight for 60 minutes
We won. I was there and drank some beer. We didn't play our best but the Wings have no finish to truly threaten. Brossoit was great again. Took a cab home and poured a glass of wine. If you want more than that you'll have to wait for Whileee to post .Went to the Warrior game so I missed the Jets. Anyone got a synopsis?
