The "worth" of the ryan is irrelevant.

If I paid 800 bucks for it two decades ago and can pull 4k from it now with 2 Bedard YGs, I'd say that's beneficial to me and the person who traded for it since it's going into his personal collection.

Sorry guys, I'm a flipper. I won't post any more info here on how to take advantage of a situation where you can make double what you put in when these situations only come once in a great while.

Carry on my wayward sons.
Yes, please don't.

If you think it is profitable to buy 30 dollar sets, split and sell multiple cards for a 2x 30 dollar gross profit, then you do not value your time at all. After selling fee's, taxes, you are making less then a guy at McDonalds does per hour. Uber drivers think your economics suck.

So it turns out that some LCS are having trouble meeting the demand of these S2 cases. All that buy a case of S1 to be eligible for a Case of S2 is bs now it looks like. Something doesnt seem right. I might still get my case on time but a bunch of others are not. Wild shit.

My LCS got shafted 12 boxes from the s1 order between what the UD direct and distributor was supposed to send him. I’m putting it on the distributor in this case since his direct stuff arrived already. They’re sitting on it claiming shorted allotment only to increase the price in a week on them another $500-$1000 per case to cash in. I have a good estimate what he paid based on what he charged us and I know it’s nowhere near what these big retailers are trying to charge.

So you don't really understand the math involved in profits or gains.

Anyone paying $1500 for a Bedard when you can get a McDavid for $1000-$1100 is an absolute idiot.
Anyone paying $3000 for a case of this stuff is an absolute idiot. You’ll hit on average 1 YG and a YGCL, which might make you back half of what you dropped on an insanely good day.

You hit this card.
You holding or are you selling?
How does one even hit a card like this? Is some random collector actually going to be lucky to crack this in a pack?

When did 1 of 1s become a thing anyways. I'm struggling to think if this is a good or bad thing for collectors and the hobby/industry.

You get the juiced case that was sent to one of the big breakers (D&A or CnC is my honest guess) and then you jump on the next flight to pick it up in person. From there you jump on a flight to Buffalo and go to Dave and Adam’s with card in hand. Anything involving mailing or third party is a bad decision. Like betting on the Toronto Maple Leafs to win a game 7 type of bad decision.

I'd say the odds of this happening are slim to nil, but I'd still love to see it.

Most likely though it's either already been found and they're just trying to drum up the hype, or some big breaker's already been tipped off.

Believe it or not this is the discounted price at my LCS. Something something distributors something. People who werent on the list are willing to pay $5000 for it here.
It’s insane what the distributors are gouging this at. It was originally marked at the same price as series 1, they jacked it up thanks to the big name stores jacking the price through the roof to pocket more money.

Are they selling at $300 a box if you're on the list? I might skip series 2 if that's the case...

BTW I'm fairly certain these boxes will come out close to series 1 prices on epack in a few months since there won't be a distributor mark up.
