Is the Sweden / Czech game on TSN?

Edit : I just scanned thru all 5 TSN channels and no hockey. But, thankfully, there is women soccer, highlights of golf, tennis and some show called "First Take".

inexperienced coach who hopefully learned his lesson. Played the wrong goaltender and went into the game with the wrong mindset. Unlike in the first two games they didn't try to make plays until it was late. They tried not to allow more than 2 goals which is a faulty strategy vs Canada. That was never gonna work. Another lesson is that you shouldn't move your best and most experienced Center to the wing. Especially vs Canada Antenen would have been important to shut down the most dangerous Canadians and control the pace of the game down the middle. But better to get these experiments out of the way now than to do that sort of stuff at the WJC18. I expect smarter coaching decisions there or I'm gonna be upset. For now I'm not.

Of course the team could still make the semis but I'm not holding my breath. The Slovaks can score and I think they'll do so today but I don't think they're anywhere solid enough to compete with Finland for 60'.

It's a nice age group for the Swiss. Hopefully translates to a good U20 and a few players drafted.

Curious how the Slovaks do... Was hoping for better results for them.
 
Swedes scored before I tuned in. Given they need to score 5... Must feel great to score in first minute. Doesn't feel great for me.lol
 
And that's the knock on galvas... Made some great plays as a 4th forward but eventually lost it.. 3 on 1... Drancak let's it go through his legs and 2-0... Swedes are flying! They could pull this off.
 
Tremendous work from Liv... Great Czech pressure. Hard to cheer against Liv tbh
 
The refs and some of their whistles and faceoff decisions are pretty wild.

Also, oof, Vilén with a huge blunder. Lucky for him Liv was sharp.

What a save by Liv!
 
Czechs with great pressure... PP coming up in a very rare 2 penalties called at once.

Liv has been awesome... Lots of pressure and he's cool as a cucumber. We need a goal badly to detail the Swedes a little and to make us believe we can score on Liv.

Czechs move the puck around nicely, but they seem to have a lack of finish.
 
This Finnish team isn't good. Bad defense and bad offense. Canada game was a fluke. Overrated age group for Finland. No Kiviharju and Helenius = Not a good team.

Big time! Benak is a playmaker but taking the shots...

You may remember the U18
.. same thing happened to Sale.

We don't have many Kulichs ... One every five years.
 
Enjoying the Cze - Swe game. Lots of physical play and two teams wanting it bad. Liv looks so unpolished (but spectacular) in net. Reminds me of a certain Czech legend that was not really the most technically skilled goalie 😀

Normally when Sweden beat us they are so calm and cool... It's admirable.

Today they are pissy as hell. Very emotional matchup...
