Youtube linkIs the Sweden / Czech game on TSN?
Edit : I just scanned thru all 5 TSN channels and no hockey. But, thankfully, there is women soccer, highlights of golf, tennis and some show called "First Take".
Oy... I'm off for a walk.
It's a nice age group for the Swiss. Hopefully translates to a good U20 and a few players drafted. Was a good tournament. That's what counts. Lots of good things and if we play vs Canada the way we played vs Finland we may not lose by more than 2. Still, I'm fine with the tournament. We won twi games rather convincingly and lost vs Canada maybe a little bit higher than necessary. Sounds like a decent tournament for Swiss standards. Young
inexperienced coach who hopefully learned his lesson. Played the wrong goaltender and went into the game with the wrong mindset. Unlike in the first two games they didn't try to make plays until it was late. They tried not to allow more than 2 goals which is a faulty strategy vs Canada. That was never gonna work. Another lesson is that you shouldn't move your best and most experienced Center to the wing. Especially vs Canada Antenen would have been important to shut down the most dangerous Canadians and control the pace of the game down the middle. But better to get these experiments out of the way now than to do that sort of stuff at the WJC18. I expect smarter coaching decisions there or I'm gonna be upset. For now I'm not.
Of course the team could still make the semis but I'm not holding my breath. The Slovaks can score and I think they'll do so today but I don't think they're anywhere solid enough to compete with Finland for 60'.
He's outstandingLiv keeps on keeping Czechs off the scoreboard.
Czechs move the puck around nicely, but they seem to have a lack of finish.Swedes scored before I tuned in. Given they need to score 5... Must feel great to score in first minute. Doesn't feel great for me.lol
Terrible 5 on 3. Stupid shots and plays. refuse to go to the net.Czechs move the puck around nicely, but they seem to have a lack of finish.
In what way?Celebrini is just hurt, he's a much better player than Catton - it's not close either.
In what way?
Big time! Benak is a playmaker but taking the shots...Czechs move the puck around nicely, but they seem to have a lack of finish.
Our last 5 on 3 was the same... Full pressure... Lots of passes and shots but nothing. That post could come back and haunt usTerrible 5 on 3. Stupid shots and plays. refuse to go to the net.
Given that they clearly both are and project as centres, this is a little disqualifying of your entire take.More dynamic, faster, better shot, better defensively, better IQ, more important position ...in every way possible. I don't see one segment where Catton beats Celebrini, not one.
