Finns getting abused today.
Finns getting abused today.
Must all finnish people be so sensitive? It was a joke obviously.
Canada is bigger, faster, stronger and overall more skilled. The score and eye test shows this
I wouldn't take much out of this personally. Canada is beyond dominant at this tourney. I imagine they'll beat the Czechs/Swiss by similar or worse scores. The Czech game tomorrow will be very important and I don't see the Czechs scoring 6 goals on Finland.lolObviously yeah. The finns have Raty and Lambert who actually can compete the rest of the team i have never ever heard of. The D is utterly bad, well. This ain't nothing to worry about anyways every team goes through very bad games i'm sure the finns will show up next game.
Well that's that.
Would have liked to have seen more out of Byfield but he was o.k.
Was looking forward to my first look at Lambert but today wasn't his day to shine I guess, he was basically invisible.
Hmm, I hardly noticed the guy myself. That doesn't mean much though, as you said he is really young and it's just one game.I actually thought Lambert looked quite good, particularly considering his age. He showed some offensive flashes and was really the only Finn with consistent zone entries today.
Seems it is, sucks.Looks like the stream is blocked outside slovakia
My understanding is that this is a pretty good Slovak team and they might be better next year? Generational bump?A tie 1:1 in Slovakia Sweden game so far as well.
It's pretty competitive I agree. This generation has a shot at beating some top team, unfortunately they'll have to battle it out first in the B division. The first 10 minute of this game showed that these kids are pretty good skating wise, having outskated the Swedes a few times already into breaks, they are definitely not getting outplayed at all so far and have been the better team since they equalized. My understanding is that this is a pretty good Slovak team and they might be better next year? Good... hope they can maintain with Swedes. It's pretty competitive I agree. This generation has a shot at beating some top team, unfortunately they'll have to battle it out first in the B division. Yikes... Canada just crushed any hope of Finn's unlikely comeback. Just methodically going about their business. I imagine the Finn's will bounce back the next game.
It's messed up...Canada takes this tournament very seriously.
It’s the only opportunity for best on best U18 hockey.
