Which is even stranger because Slovaks are playing well and it's in Bratislava. I'll be going next year when it is back in Edmonton (or whenver it is back in Edmonton).. be curious to see the atmosphere.

It's in Piestany, not in Bratislava. It's not on cable TV, but a decent stream on hockeyslovakia.sk.

I remember that the 2002 team got demolished a few times by Russia back in u16, so I am positively surprised by their performance at this tourney so far.
 
Couple of good scoring chances for Slovakia early in the 3rd, but failed to take the lead. The kids are still flying with lots of speed, so that's good.

Starting from last season, the Swedish hockey federation has ordered the U16 & U17 national teams to stop using underaged players. I believe they will be a lot more hesitant to bring U17 players to the Hlinka tournament too.
 
Mysak will be propably drafted in mid/late second round and Novak in 3rd to 4th round. Huge dissapointment from this overhyped generation. Mysak is next Necas they said, lol sure.

I'm more interested in the next Zidlicky... this keeps happening. Some 15 year old cracks Extraliga and they hype begins... Frk used to be the next great hope too!
