Fun game and I like the way this team is trending now. Just have to make a couple more moves.

Freaking love Benoit. Warrior. Domi, Bertuzzi and Knies battled their asses off all series. Extend both Max and Tyler if possible. Love them. Nylander was a stud.

Fire Keefe and Shanny. Need new voices and fresh ideas. Trade Marner for a 1st pairing RHD. Use the remainder of the money for a 2C. Extend Edmundson at a cheaper hit than Brodie. Dump Sammy and run with Woll and someone else.

Run back something like...

Bertuzzi-Matthews-Domi
Knies-Addition-Nylander
McMann-Tavares-Jarnkrok
Robertson-Kampf-Holmberg
Dewar

Reilly- Addition
Edmunson-Liljegren
Benoit-McCabe

Woll
Addition

I think we're starting to see a team that is close. Need a quality 2C that pushes Tavares down in the lineup, a stud RHD (preferably with a point shot) and an upgrade on Samsonov to pair with Woll. Meanwhile, let guys like Cowan, Grebenkin and Minten bake a little bit in the minors.

Like I said.... Well, they showed some guts coming back, so it wasn't the complete embarrassment it could have been.

Thanks to all of the fellow forum members, who made this an enjoyable season.

Big changes should be coming, we shall see what actually happens.

I've watched this for 40 years. This franchise if cursed. If they would have been fully healthy, including McMann, they probably win.

They finally put together a team that grinds and limps through a 7 game war with some self-respect and commitment and they lose on a bad bounce off the boards.

I've said my piece about what needs to change. It should have been done three years ago and this team might have had a couple of core pieces to get them over the line and then some.

Let's not fool ourselves, this Bruins team is relying on many older stars too, if these guys were in their prime Leafs wouldn't have made it past game 5.

I am oddly serene about it since I was less invested in this team throughout the season for obvious reasons., This is an annual celebrate of the Cup in another city.

That game was not on Sammy. When you score but 1 goal in game 7, with all that supposed firepower...just unacceptable. AVERAGED below 2 goals a game in the series and 2 goals a game against Florida last year, just unacceptable. Pelley, you best have paid attention, it's time for change and I'm arguing that nobody is beyond consideration to be moved. Nobody.

They gave it a good run but in the end the moribund PP and offence in general cost us. The hockey gods didn’t help with injuries/ illness to Nylander, Matthews and Woll. Proud of the development of Knies and Benoit was a stud.

But Rielly was a piece of shit again, on for both goals. Marner is a f***ing clown who doesn’t show up for big games. And Samsonov with another shitty goal blocker side. Hope we’ve seen the last of him.

I’m excited to see the changes Treliving has to make, starting by clearing the coaches.

Not even mad at Sammy. One f***ing goal again.
ya people keep blaming sammy, but you aint winning hockey games scoring 2 or less goals very often.

the last 14 playoffs, they scored 3 or more goals f***ing once. Lol thats hilarious and people trying to blame goaltenders

Well Leafs I’ve been in it with you guys ever since the 2013 choke. I give up on this franchise, sure I’ll be a fair weather casual fan maybe still but I got other things in life I need to care about more then a bunch of grown men skating on a ice surface that only know how to lose in the most dramatic possible way. It’s just not worth it anymore.

If you play the last part of the game like the puck is a hot potato and give it away as soon as you get it, you won't come out on top.

I don't know how much more anyone could possibly need.

The entire philosophy behind the build of this organization has failed. 'Failed' doesn't encapsulate the status. It has crumbled entirely.

What an absolute waste.

Rule 57.3 of the NHL rulebook states: “If, in the opinion of the referee, a player makes contact with the puck first and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shot will be awarded, but a minor penalty for tripping shall be assessed.”
