HFDevils Official Tickets and Prudential Center thread

My timeslot is 12pm so I can look then, have a specific section or area you are interested in?
Mine is at 3pm. I'm probably going to play the waiting game unless they're at prices I can't refuse, but after the 2023 price debacle, I'm not holding out hope. I'm looking for 100s where we shoot twice.

Also, based on what the Prudential Center did on facebook by creating events for each home game, it looks like the dates are April 25, 27, and May 1

Only thing that's weird about that schedule is theres gotta be a 2 day break in there somewhere. First day of playoffs is supposed to be April 19th so that would mean game 1 has to be the 20th or 21st with game 2 on the 22nd or 23rd.

$85 and $111 plus Ticketmaster fees were the two prices I just saw for that area.

Lower level starts at $141 with fees included. I would say the arena is pretty fairly priced for a round 1 matchup with the Canes.

What happened in 2023? Did they jack up prices originally since it was a matchup against the Rangers and then lower prices when the demand wasn't there?

It was an absolute disaster. If I remember correctly I had a presale window as a partial plan holder and there was next to nothing available and the cheapest seats were around $300. As time went on they kept releasing more tickets and dropping the prices. I distinctly remember game 7 having TONS of unsold seats in the 200s and scattered everywhere else and they dropped to around $99. Had I bought tickets during the presale and paid three times that as a partial plan holder, I would have been furious.

Yea, plus there was legit belief in the team and inflation was still blistering hot. Tons of money was out there. If I recall correctly, initial prices were crazy high and sold out instantly. Like cheapest ticket (you could reasonably get) for a while before game 1 was around $200 with fees.

But prices tanked within 24 hrs of GM 1. I ended up getting a couple tickets in row 9ish I think in the lower bowl behind attack twice net for $225 a piece.

I wonder if they will raise the prices when a group with less seniority starts?

I saw the prices now and am curious if they raise them by 3 p.m.

As of now it looks like $75 all in for high rows in the 100s behind the defend twice side. Then goes to $95, $99, and $101.

I think those are just placeholder dates for now. It has us as potentially having game 7 at home on May 2nd. I’m not sure if Facebook allows you to create an event without a date.

I am thinking about picking up an extra pair for all games (two of my sons will be in the area for some of the games). If anyone is interested in splitting it (or even just committing to xx games), let me know. (send a DM) Would probably get middle rows (rows 5-9) in defend-twice balcony (near my season tickets), which would be $82 each (all-in) for the first round.

Heard Matt and Chico on the postgame yesterday. Chico said very unlike your series starts on Saturday, as Carolina has a road game on Thursday, and would have to travel back to play a home game on one day’s rest. He said that wouldn’t really be fair. Matt laughed and said, “fair??”, and pointed out that the Devils had only one day’s rest and had to travel to Carolina after beating the Rangers.

Anyway, they expect the series to start on Sunday or Chico said maybe even Monday, which does put those later dates in play.

Yeah, Saturday is most likely out. Not only is Carolina on the road tomorrow, but they also play tonight so a Saturday playoff start would make it 3 game in 4 nights.

Would suck to have to wait until Monday to start the series and there are no arena conflicts to work around that would necessitate that long of a delay, so thinking a Sunday series start is almost a given at this point.

According to the broadcast schedule there's only 2 games on Saturday, 6pm and 9pm so yeah agree that we won't be the series that kicks off the playoffs. Probably will be either the Florida matchup or the Ovi series.

The only conflict our arena has is sat the 26th so probably likely we have a 2 day break somewhere, whether it's we don't start till Monday or we play sun/Tues and then have a two day break after that and play fri/sun at home.

I was thinking back to the 2023 playoffs when they had 4 of the series start one night and the other 4 start the next and thinking we'd see the same this year - that was with a Monday playoff start date. I checked last year's schedule though and they had 2 start Saturday, 4 Sunday and 2 Monday so guess they're sticking with that again this year.

I won't be able to attend Game 4 (since when does the father of the groom have to show up at a bridal shower?!?!?!?).

(If anyone in Rachel's family lurks here... I am just kidding, of course ... sort of ... maybe).

And yes ... I am so old that my son (not even the oldest one) is getting married.

Anyone looking for a pair for Sunday, 4/27, shoot me a DM. I believe my cost is $82/ticket, which is all I am asking. Section 119 row 4.

Just looking over face value pricing and I can’t figure out why the attack twice balconies are $2 cheaper than the defend twice balconies.. Heck, the worst seat in the building of section 216’s last row is $2 more than the attack balconies. Did they mess up or are they really trying to push for that balcony to be packed first?

Lower prices reflecting the fact that the puck will be at the far end most of the game :-)
