HFDevils Official Tickets and Prudential Center thread

The transfer button is live now. The individual pricing is in the ticket info but not the invoice info yet.

I have the transfer button available but not the sell option and the individual pricing still isn't showing for me when I click ticket details.

They've been running a no fee deal in individual tickets for a couple of days that ends tonight. Would bet that's a last ditch effort to get more money before giving STH the ability to change the market.

The no fees deal is only for games thru 12/27 and doesn't apply to the home opener or the Rags 12/23 game. Shocking.

Wow. I thought the Devils low balled STHs with their refund on the Flyers / Winter Classic game last year. For me at least, the refund on the Sabres / Opening Game is very hard to justify.

They definitely low balled us on the Flyers game. I got more money back on this game though and thought it was about right. Buffalo isn't a hot ticket game.

Was gonna ask if anyone else is going to Prague for the games. My buddy and I are going and are doing it through julieapproved. We did a few suite tickets with her last year and they went well, so why not. Added on the Munich component, so will fly to Munich for a few days, then to Prague from there. Opted for all inclusive only for Munich at the moment, since everything starts to add up (although since I got in on the original package early, prices were a little cheaper for the base package).

Lmao at this organization...

So long story short, our ticket rep has been, well mediocre at best.

We did not want to renew our season tickets and realized now that she didnt even bother to tell us that they are going to auto-renew already now. Nobody asked us if we want to spend another $7,000 a year again  what the literal F

I have messaged our rep twice that we do not want to renew. She refuses to process our prompt. She just sent us general terms and conditions that you auto-renewed and Devils are entitled to charge you

Do we just have a dumbass for a rep or do others encounter this crap?

Ten emails about "please renew and place your deposit for 2025-2026" - not a single communication that we are gonna start auto-charging your credit card. Thats just.. not polite.

For the average fan, the ticket reps are useless. They're basically right out of college and well, this work thing is, like, so annoying. Especially when they have to deal with customers.

I feel your pain.

It's not polite but it is in your teams of service that you have to opt out by a certain date.

I wouldn't count on a refund. You'll probably have to suck it up and make sure next season, you stay on top of emails when it's time to renew so you can opt out.

As mentioned most are meh at best. I hope you do find a way to get your money back.

Yeah thats just terrible client service. I get it but just makes your clients agitated. Lets see how it goes.

How long have you had season tickets? I got the email on February 13th labeled "Your 2025-26 Devils Membership Information" and it says...

"If you do not Customize your Membership by Thursday, February 27th at 2:00 PM EST, nothing further will be required to keep your Devils Membership active and your card will be charged on March 1st in accordance with the payment plan you have previously utilized."

Now I'm with you on all of this stuff, I HATE that renewals are sent out before the season is even over, it's ridiculous but if you've been a season ticket holder for a few years you should know that this time every year is when they do it but if it's your first year than I absolutely understanding the annoyance especially cause they only send out like 1 email about it.

I would skip over your rep and call the main line phone number and say you want to speak to someone else above them. Unfortunately I won't be shocked if you don't get very far but it's worth a shot and I agree with you that it's also a silly way of doing business since pissing off a fan this much is not a bright idea when it's not like we have a waiting list for season tickets.

Called the rep, pretty much said we are now on the hook for 2x season tickets. $7k annual subscription renews like Spotify lol. This is just ass. First time STH too.

At least we can switch to a cheaper plan.

Did you try calling the main line and asking to speak to a higher up? Your rep is the low person on the pole, I would absolutely try to go above them and see if someone else can work it out.

Did you actually receive the email I mentioned?

Do you pay in full or payments? Your other option is canceling the card and talking to your bank about the issue. Never know with this organization but I really doubt they would send your bill to collections especially since it's for next season so it's not like you used something you didn't pay for.

Unfortunately the membership thing is what most teams use now. The Red Bulls do the same.

Once we went digging through our email we found the message. Still crazy that it renews w/o actual clear consent, this feels just so fraudulent.

We asked for our reps manager to join the call, he didnt come. Next available slot to chat with him is next week, conveniently after this weeks playoff plan deadline

Just a disastrously handled situation on their end. Literally messaged them a week before the renewal we are not happy. And we noticed the first charge so soon, crazy that they are so adamant that "ha, you are one day too late to cancel!"

Why dont they just make you autorenew for 10 years? Why not 1000 years? Why stop at one? This is such a nifty trick...

A few years ago they did do an auto renewal for two years. But that was just once. Can't remember if that was pre or post pandemic.

The auto renew thing has been around a long time.

Miserable, I hate all of it too, it's so anti fan friendly. Even though I'm almost always renewing I hate having to do it before the season is even over. Renewals should go out no earlier than April 1st ever.

Sorry you're dealing with that. Maybe sell off the Rangers games next year and post every game for sale next year and you should be able to recoup some of the money at least.

The auto renew thing has been around a long time.

That 2 year thing had a benefit of locking into the price so there was no possibly price increase for the 2nd year. I don't remember when it was either though.

Unfortunately I don't think they do a good job of explaining some stuff to 1st year season ticket holders and sending out 1 email about how you're going to be locked in with the renewal for next season to 1st year season ticket holders probably isn't enough but I don't think the team cares.

The organization has acted like they have a waiting list for season tickets for years when there isn't one. I've never liked that mentality from the front office.

One other thing....I was told it's a sales tactic.

Lets say the goal is 90% renewal.

They believe it's easier to go from 100% auto renewed (with opt-out) accounts and not go below 90% compared to starting at 0 and working up to 90. Not my opinion just what I was told.

Makes sense, I just find it a bit repugnant. It's like a gym membership where they hope people sign up and then just forgot to cancel.

We are still a team that needs all the fans that they can get though so why try to f*** them over with tactics like this. Why piss off a fan who just dropped that much money on you and might not ever spend a dime on the team again because of this instead of just working with them and saying sorry to see you go but we still hope you come out to games in the future.

It's like everything else business and corporation wise these days. They all suck.

I've said it a few times on here but I can't stand Jake Reynolds and his stupid sneakers. He represents everything that's wrong with out front office off the ice. Guy does f*** all but show up at some of the charity things to show his face. He sucks.

The unfortunate part is a lot of people just opt out of receiving (or reading) emails since 95% of the time they're filler/just a nuisance. Like the 'know before you go' ones, they make sure to send that one all the time lol

But yes the codicil of auto renewal is more likely to screw first-time season ticket holders if you aren't going in with a heads up. I feel like they've only gone as far as auto-renewing the last few years though, before that it was you just had a certain amount of time to renew and if you didn't, 'they couldn't guarantee your tickets for next year'. Obviously option A is better for business and retention though.

The more customer friendly solution would be to allow opting out a lot later in the calendar and if they've already collected payments by then just say you get the amount you already paid back as an account credit for punishment in not opting out sooner. At least that way you aren't locked into season tickets and by the same token you don't get off scot-free for missing the deadline.

Funny thing is SH says the Devils act like they have a season ticket waiting list, but if they did it'd be a lot easier for them to be magnanimous and let this guy off. It's the opposite, they have to resort to technicalities and keep people on season tickets who don't want to be on them because they know they're not going to sell 16000 season tickets at any time in the near future.
