He's a bottom pairing liability dman on 90% of the games he plays. Campbell is not far behind him, 2 of the worst contracts in the league.

If the Oilers get average defence and goaltending they're stanley cup bound but that's going to be impossible when you have Nurse and Ceci as your top pairing and Campbell in net.

You lot need a change in culture, McDavid and Draisaitl are posting four points per game and still losing. While, the awfulness of the Pacific allowed Oilers to get to the Conference Finals. You need more than just a starting goaler, that defensive core needs to be rebuilt. There is no way the Oilers should be losing to this current Avs team.

No chance on any of them, they were all perfectly, unstoppable, seeing eye, deflections, highly skilled plays?

They sit a goalie that's I think 11th or 12th in GSAx for a goalie that coming into today is a -14 GSAx. That's probably gonna be closer to -15 after today.

The other guy is a +11 something in GSAx.

They both work for the league. NHL stupid lottery rules that changed because of you and the Penguins and the refs making stupid decisions.

That's what I mean, if you have deficiencies out there like Campbell, Nurse, and/or depth, then a more structured system where everyone is insulated together will be helpful. McDavid cherry-picking at the blueline when the puck is in the defensive zone because he can outskate 99.9% of the league for an easy breakaway goal showcases those problems.
