I like the fact that Roger's London gives the chance to host and gain experience for the London's game broadcasts. I wish more teams would do that.
And tell Sloany that every save that Elliott makes is not phenomenal, lol.
He's doing yoemans work

I think the people doing the pre/post/between period interviews the last 2/3 years have been great. Sloan is what it is lol. And all females and 3mw have moved on, one a significant jump. Not sure on the other.
Helps to have the college that has a program for media in town with quality facilitators. ( including at one time Stubbs but not sure if he I'd still involved) that program has been the foundation for a good number of journalist/media professionals.

They have the same program at st.clair college in Windsor. A number of them have gone on to do tv reporting and what not. It would be a nice touch if they would let the students get some experience.

I'm sorry but JJ13 should not be on this team. Not the same guy from last season. Even Sloany and Doyle noted that, as an OA, he needed to step up and start producing.

Totally agree. I was only familiar with London college program.
It's such an easy match, all local broadcasts should tap into it if available. Good for all sides.

London has a quality broadcast comparing to other ohl teams and my understanding is alot of it is volunteers behind the scenes. Cameras ect.....

I'm sure if local teams don't have a college offering entertaiment/media/broadcast programs or HS SHSM programs they could offer CoOps for those within an hr drive.

Hawery = "the next one", "Barkey 2.0", maybe it's his size, the left-handed shot, the smooth skating, good hands, and the number _ 6 on his jersey that reminds me of 86.

Two tired clubs today...and without Halttunen, Cowan, and Barkey...the game went as expected. A full lineup would have likely feasted on that 62% league low PK of the 67s.

That's 15 in a row..

Bend, but not break. Good teams find ways to win. The Knights are a good team. Todays game have a bit of a preview of WJC, but think todays lineup without Bonk, Dickinson and Nurmi! Yikes

This was a good game to get a glimpse of what Christmas time will be. Players like Julien, O’Rielly, Nicholl, Montgomery etc need to shoot more. Seems like the whole team is looking for the perfect play instead of shooting. That’s how we will get through Christmas.
It's possible, though unlikely I think, that we could be without (all of):

Bonk, Dickinson, Cowan, Barkey (Canada)
Halttunen, Nurmi (Finland)

for the World Juniors.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that Barkey and Nurmi will remain in London.

a third of the way through the season. A very solid start to the year. I wonder what the other 2/3 will hold

I was very impressed with Noah Aboflan in yesterday’s game …..plays with confidence… makes the right plays … strong on his skates and doesn’t back down from the rough stuff… could definitely be a improvement on the 4th line

I like him. He plays physical doesn’t take a ton of penalties. He’s in that rotation. So far it’s still a rotating door

Aboflan is a more mature physical presence. I suspect as the season progresses he will be trusted more in that role. He gives that presence with a LOT less risk..
