Kucherov doesn’t even look happy when he scores
He’s just thinking “Can we just sim to the playoffs?”

It's crazy. There was no joy at all on his face. This dude has one goal in mind and it's obvious.Kucherov doesn’t even look happy when he scores

Figured i better quote you so you can't change it in the 2nd.I'll take the over. 1G 2A - 3 points.
Laine scored 5 and look were hes at right knowWhats funny Kuch has not had a hatty this year.
The thing that really pisses me off is some saying NO. Simply because he has a strong supporting cast. That is just plain STUPID talk. The man is possessed. Is Kucherov the Hart Trophy favorite right now? The way he's playing it's hard to name anyone else.
You’re right to the extent of that period resembling how our recent playoff series have gone, namely the two against Pittsburgh and to a smaller extent last year vs wash. Carrying the play, leading in shots, scoring chances, time of possession, etc. and we have lost because of what you said, opposing skill taking advantage of their opportunities. I don’t think it’s necessarily a reason to mail it in or change the whole team concept/structure. Even with less skill, when you carry the play and dominate the statistics, namely the scoring chances, at some point you’ve got to think that our luck will change.Tampa Bay outscored Columbus 16-2 in the season series now.
They bring out the reasons why Columbus is a pretender still.
Jackets always end up losing a playoff series to the team with more high end skill. Torts gameplan is ”push harder skate faster hit bigger”, Jackets need many chances to score while the elite players for the other team only need a couple chances. No matter if it’s the Pens or Bolts, it’s just fun for them to play Cbus since they know timely goals usually go their way.
If you can’t outskill the other team you have to be able to frustrate their offense and have a defensive mindset. Islanders have done great against Tampa this year. Swept Pens in a H&H series. Ottawa took Pens to game 7 OT.
Columbus is just always the same thing, they try to force their way to victory without any real tactical gameplan. Even against Caps once the high of a great start faded and Caps got their confidence Columbus could never adjust or come up with anything new.
