why are you white knighting about a topic or players you're not familiar with??
I know the players, not Guatamalan Knighting, not a gringo, tonight. Just don't get what you are trying to say. You made a claim about them getting involved in scrums but not fighting. When people responded that that is pretty standard, you said that's not what you were talking about and only Nucks and Oil fans know. So, I guess we're just in the dark.

Has Nashville looked like this all year?
Will do my best to speak for Preds fans here, and say mostly yes. Even when they had a mini streak, they looked average at best in my opinion. Brunette is locked in on playing his vets way too many minutes each night and gives 4th line scrubs an infinitely longer leash than younger players that might actually have an ounce of talent in them. L'Heureux seems to be the exception as I guess they see him as having enough grit to his game to warrant minutes. The issue there is the vets that lack offensive ability with all their grit are crap at even strength (as is most of the team to be fair.). That is why I tend to fall back on Brunette and whatever his system is for the very poor start.

Overall there's a major lack of cohesiveness amongst the skaters in general. Doesn't help that Florida is an extremely strong team as well, in terms of tonight.

Tonight, Florida is just playing their game. But, yeah, the Preds look like they are surprised every time the puck is on their stick. Well, not Josi.

1st intermission Avs/Jets...Kyle Connor has a freakishly long neck and a beak for a nose...
He's lanky and has a Roman Nose

Do you think the problem is Brunette? I liked the guy, but he absolutely wasn't ready to be a full time head coach two years ago. Honestly, still doesn't look like it.
See my last post for a general explanation, but I will say confidence in him has been plummeting since the start of the season, as we get past the start of the season and the supposed adjustment to all the changes. Everybody looks lost on the ice from my viewpoint.

Not when the forward who is supposed to cover his point position is too efrfing stupid to do it.
Maybe if Kurtis Macdermid and Dowling are on the ice you can count on a forward to do that, not against bratt and jack He got greedy and got too low and didn't have the skating to make up for it
