LMAO. The GI stuff is completely bonkers. The Carlson goal should have counted. The goalie reset and McMichael was being engaged by the goalie plus the defender. And was out of the crease when the pick went in. NHL clowning now.

I get them being a stickler about being in the crease and initiating contact, they've been consistent about that.

Problem with this instance is McMichael was clearly trying to get out of the crease but was being kept in by the defender while also being pushed by Ingram. And, he finally managed to work his way out of the crease before the puck went in, and Ingram was completely reset. It was an awesome shot by Carlson. Now I'm confused again as to what is GI after thinking I had it figured out this week. I give up.

Yeah, and it's supposed to be that the incidental contact has to prevent the goalie's ability to make a save, which this clearly didn't. So I really have no idea.

Problem is he made zero effort to get out of the crease. Skated directly into the blue paint unabated and parked himself on the front edge.

I saw it as a 50/50 call.
