Watch it again. He was trying to get out, and eventually did while being kept in by the Utah player until he could make his way out. I'm sure the coach challenged it because of that combined with Ingram being reset by the time the puck was shot.

As your main boards post suggested, looking a lot like the offseason trades really screwed up this Oiler team.

Yup, older and slower and not one new guy is stepping up in any meaningful way at all.

But, I blame Nurse for this. Not him specifically but we only have 3D that could be considered Top 4 and now we have 2. Toss in my fav Bouch is playing like shit and it's basically Ek and a bunch of plugs right now.lol

Then the goalies.. man, I could go on for days here. Feels like we are a goalie and top 4RD away for the 10th season in a row.lol

Jeff Jackson might indeed be a dud. Everybody and their dog could see that what the Oilers needed was better defensemen and at least a B+ goalie ....... and so Jackson dumps the youth and loads up on past-their-prime forwards without addressing any of these concerns.

That's what I saw... we didn't address our 2 glaring needs. We actually got worse on D by losing Bro and Ceci. None of Brown, Stecher, Dermott are going to move the needle at all. Pickard is a fine backup but he doesn't push Stu in any meaningful way.
