@Tofveve , if Pettersson is serious about winning he would be smart to take a bit of a discount while playing in Vancouver. Vancouver has an edge of being a premier Canadian market that has a chance to sign pretty much any UFA.

This of course hinges on them having continued success this season

I think with the Sedins being closely connected working with the farm in Abbotsford and this city being all he knows west of the Atlantic, his internal leanings will be to staying in Vancouver. But it does sound like he's aiming for top dollar from what I hear on Vancouver sports radio. I think he'll sign in Vancouver though.
