Canucks couldn't clear it out of the zone, Daniel I think was looking for a breakaway pass and Calgary quickly stole it back.

Calgary plays a very boring style of hockey. Just repeats long passes up to the forwards at the blueline and hope for a tip to a teammate.

Huh? Our top line did nothing but great passing plays in the O-zone. And when we're on its nonstop high tempo hockey, but I guess that's boring :dunno:

Defenseman passes along the boards, tip by forward at blueline into the zone. Repeat. That's how the Flames gain the zone. It's repetitive and it's boring.

So, because they enter the zone that way, not all the time btw (our main play last year was the d rush up and drop pass to a forward and enter), they're boring  despite the fact that they swarmed, played very flashy offense and scored pretty goals tonight, got it :help:

Whatever you like, you like. First goal was a nice shot by Hamilton, but on a powerplay that should never had happened. Second was a defensive mistake with both Canuck defensemen going to Gaudreau and leaving Monahan in front of the net. And Gaudreau capitalized on another Canuck error to win in overtime, even though he should have been in the box for a healthy slash on Sutter. It's pretty obvious that the Canuck blueline is the weak spot for the team, made even worse when your second best defenseman is missing due to the flu. So defensive mistakes are something the Canucks need to avoid, if they did this game, then they could have won.
